...it's like Galaxy Angel A. It was translated and dubbed into English for broadcast on Animax, but it had never been dubbed for US release (it might be in the dubbing process now, but in 2005, it wasn't) so it used different voice actors and is more of a translation than a localization. In other words, the dialogue was only changed insomuch as it needed to be to be understandable by English speakers. No lame American jokes, or otherwise. And so many other animes go down that way...
