^ Makes nicely coordinated posts - the avatar, signature and the message itself are all of a blue theme.

BTW, Kyuu-san is correct about penmenship. Before the pc age, I used to have very nice handwriting, but lack of practice combined with loss of fine motor control due to lots of typing has made it look awful ... *dies* X_x

^Who i call Shii-NEECHAN for some reason
(-neechan = Used towards older sisters or sister like figures)

^ I thought it was Onee-chan? Hmm..

^That's what I thought, too. In fact, in this one Japanese-learning book I had, it said it was onee (oh-nee)--or was it ane (ah-ney)? can't quite remember (I think it's onee).

^Well, ya

Usally, older sisters are just called Onee-chan (Like how i call Nuriko-chan "Onee-chan" because she's my older sister)
"-nee-chan" is usally used to older sister like figures.
So, "Onee-chan" is for older sisters, "(name)-neechan" is used towards sister like figures

Its like how i call Presea-anechan "-anechan", which is a respective term for an older girl. And how i call Batou-senpai "-senpai" which is used towards an upper classman or more advanced student. etc

Presea
May 26 2006, 07:41 PM
^ "An idea; often used specifically of philosophical ideas." or "The basic unit of thought or (put another way) the idea in your head" or "A concept is the basic element of thought. It is a physical, material storage of information (in neurons or electronics). All the concepts in memory are interrelated, they form a web, a net." (and no, not net as in internet or .net
