Maybe I'm partially to blame for not saying anything in the past, and as far as I know, no one else has complained about the file sizes. No one hates the siggy police more than I do Docs, so I wouldn't bother you about the file size for trivial reasons. A 689K file would take almost three minutes to load on a 28.8K and I'm sure that would discourage a new visitor from posting here if they were still using such technology. Please use .jpg format or make the physical dimensions much smaller. At a quality setting of 80 there shouldn't be any noticeable difference in my opinion, but my eyesight isn't what it used to be :P The 50K that I put in the rules is just meant to be a guideline, so if it's 100K it's no big deal. However, 689K and a 115K avatar to go with it is rather far beyond the pale ...
