Hehe, this is kinda like my own version of a blog, so it's not really important if others post on this thread ... but I always like it when someone does! *Huggles Tomoyo-chan* Today was another Monday and the start of another week of work. Things weren't too bad for me I guess, but I was happy when it was over with. This evening after dinner I went out to do a little shopping, but I only bought a couple of manga books. The other things that I looked at were too expensive. T_T So far I've had a little time to visit online tonight, but I think that I'll have to go to bed soon. Tomorrow I have to get up early again ...

I guess that proves that I really am nuts. :P More seriously, I just like to write things and it doesn't really matter what it's about. That's the way that I got the forum started and for a while it was a community of one, just me. It's been lonely at times, so I'm not too bothered that things get slow here sometimes, because I know that it could be worse. Sometimes it helps me to externalize my feelings by putting them into words. Somehow it's easier to confront something that I can see, so many times my thoughts and ideas written here are more for my own benefit than anyone else's, but it's okay if others want to read them too. Lately I haven't been posting things in here like I used to do every day and I feel kinda bad about that. Maybe there have been too many things fighting for my attention recently. Well, one of them is that I've been playing online games (FFXI and WoW) in the evening and usually I find games to be very tiring and when I logoff I don't feel like doing any more compy stuff and just wind up going to bed.

So far today has been a slow day. This morning I went to Sunday mass and for once they didn't find anything for me to do, so I was able to be just an everyday regular parishoner this time. This afternoon I watched a few episodes of .hack//SIGN and now I'm starting to get close to the end of the series. After that I still have the Liminality OVA's and the Udeden series to watch too. Now I'm watching Shrek 2 with the kiddies and I should go and put the laundry away ...

It just shows that your like to write alot, you may be able to write a long story if you put your mind to it

Today was an odd day in most respects I think. After the kiddies got picked up by the bus, pretty much everything was different from the usual grind. At work I spent most of the day answering phone calls for tech support, but it was fine with me because for the first time in six months I'm actually caught up on my design work. It's not often that I get some free time to work on other things like today. The time in between I worked on translating some PLC code from one format to another. It was a little tedious, but different. ;; This evening I did some more downloading and burned some more anime CD's, but haven't played any games yet this evening. Now I'm just doing some chatting and visiting the forum here.

Today was another really odd day, much like yesterday. Again there wasn't any design work for me to do, so I spent much of the day answering phone calls. They also made me take the safety training course today after I've been working there more than thirteen years. XD For a while I was over at Ezboard moaning at them for proposing to do away with Ezsupporter accounts along with everything else when they launch the next Titanic - Yuku. Some old friends already have me culling an old Ezboard forum that they want to save before it's destroyed by Yuku, which is what I've been doing this evening.

Ooooh, it's been ages since I've done one of these. There's a couple of resaons for that. The first one everyone probably knows because the forum was down for a while. The second reason is because I was away from home all of last week for work. It took a stupifyingly long time for them to fix the webserver, and I really don't know why ... maybe they had to completely replace it or something. The business trip was to Dallas/Ft Worth in Texas, a place that I've been to a number of times before. The job there went surprisingly well and everything was completed in a week even though I was expecting it to go on much longer. It's really good to be back home again to be with family and to be able to see everyone here again too.

Okie dokies, Hikaru-chan is back for another one of these. It's been a little while so there's been some time for the followers of this thread to wake up again. Today was one of my oddball days I think. This morning I stayed home from work because one of the kiddies was sickies and my mom wasn't available to babysit, so she stayed with me. After lunch mom did come to pick her up, so I was able to go to work this afternoon, but I think that I should have taken the day off instead because it was such a nice day today. Work went good, but was pretty boring and I was happy to go home. This evening I tried to go and play World of Warcraft, but it kept kicking me out. @_@ Guild Wars was working good, but I hadn't played in a while so there was a big update to run first. Now I'm back here yawning my head off, so I should go to bed, but Batou-san gave me another idea for a manga to read.

I haven't been doing so well, i was in the hospital on tues and ill on wednesday and thursday (in england). But on thursday i was forced to go to school IT WAS SOOOOOO BORING! My ICT teacher, Tattersal-sensei, wouldn't let us play on the internet, and he mada us do BORING stuff. But my history teacher, Smally-sensei, made are lesson really fun, so today wasn't so bad
But today i'm feeling A WHOLE lot better

That sounds awful that you had to go to the hospital Tomoyo-chan, but it's good that you're okay now. *Huggles* School or work can be boring at times, but like you said they can be fun sometimes too. We always have to take the good with the bad. We didn't have internet when I was in school, but we do have it here at work ... like ... well what I'm doing right now. XD

Eeepiess, I feel squished ... ;;

It's been a while since I've done one of these, but not all that much has happened with me recently so not much to miss. Last weekend we had some really wonderful warm spring weather here, so we took out the storm windows and opened the house up again to get lots of fresh air again. Sunday morning the clocks had to be set an hour ahead so I was almost late for Sunday Mass. I only made it in time because as some of you know I can be Yukari-sensei behind the wheel sometimes. This morning it still seemed too early to be getting going, but it wasn't dark outside or anything which is good (might fall asleep again if it was). Work wasn't too bad for a Monday with a good mixture of variety to keep things from getting too monotonous and make the day go by quickly. This evening I went out to do a little shopping and bought another volume of RG Veda and some goodies for the kiddies. Yesterday I bought a deck of Yugioh cards so that Yuki-san could show me how to play and this evening I was reading the book to try and figure it out ... ;;

Yes, RG Veda was made by CLAMP about 15 years ago, just before they did Rayearth. Back then their artwork was truly amazing. It's troublesome that you've been sick again Tomoyo-san. A little while you were in the hospital, so now I'm becoming concerned. This past week hasn't been too bad for me. Work has been slow and kind of boring, but I was able to design this strange job for a Japanese company and send out the approvals for them. Next week I'll find out how they like it. The weather here has been chilly, but not horribly cold. There has been some rain and wet snow though. In the evenings this week I've been playing WoW and been doing pretty good with that lately. Now I'm back for another Friday night at the Forum ... Shii-chan has no life ... v_v

Every one has a life Shiidou-chan People may not think its good but deep down there prowed to have it and be alive. Life may not have a meaning, but for me, i'm glad everyone's alive, even the annoying people. Somepeople think that there useless to others and that everyone hates them, but, other lifes change because of meeting others. Like me when meeting You, Presea-chan, Kisa-chan, Batou-chan, Yuzuki-chan and the others.

Awww, it's not babbling at all Tomoyo-chan, you've said a lot of sweet things. *Huggles* The sickness that affects your throat makes me think of you like Mitzuki Kouyama in Full Moon wo Sagashite, one of my favorite mangas. She's such a wonderful person that wants to be a singer when she grows up, yet because of her sickness Mitzuki is soo sad sometimes ... *cries* T_T Hopefully, the doctors will get everything sorted out for you and eventually you won't have to worry about it anymore.

World of Warcraft is a great game and lots of fun. I'd love to play it with you sometime, but the time difference might make it difficult to meet up at the same time. I'm GMT-5:00, Eastern Time US.

The time at the bottom, is the time where I am, so you're correct Tomoyo-chan, when it's 11:55am in England, it's 5:55 am here in America. Normally I can't go online before 5pm during the week, which would be 11pm your time. That's a time that I can't recall seeing you here, so I'm guessing that you never stay up that late during the week. (In many ways that's a good thing )

If you want to read more about Mitzuki Kouyama, try to see if your library has the manga of Full Moon wo Sagashite. It's a wonderful story, Arina Tanemura draws great artwork and I think that you would like it a lot.

Here it is Easter Sunday and the end of a rather busy week for me. Work wasn't very exciting which was good because there were many different celebrations at my church this week. Every night this week I was out except Tuesday and Wednesday, but Wednesday was my daughter's birthday, so we had that instead. XD This afternoon after mass we all went to my mom's for dinner. My sister came to visit, so all of the little cousins got together to play ... it was just pure kiddie chaos ... XD. Afterwards I came home and had a nap because I was so tired, and now I finally get a chance to see what the online world has been up to.

Erk ... it's been a few days since anything has been posted in this. O.o;; There have been a few things keeping me busy lately. Work has become a little more chaotic recently with a little more random insanity going on. Well not too insane, I've just been getting pulled in a few more directions than I'd like to be pulled in and my own work hasn't been getting the attention that it needs. In the evenings I've been playing World of Warcraft a little more recently and I've been doing fairly well with that too. This evening I did get a chance to watch a movie with the kiddies which was fun, but I'm also out of manga to read, so maybe that had something to do with it too.

Erk! It's been so long since I've done one of these that I probably ought to just give up on it ;; Well maybe not yet. The last few weeks have been rather busy for me, and I probably haven't been paying as much attention to the forums as I should.

Work has been the usual nuttiness although they did piss me off a couple of times about two weeks ago. >_< There have been a number of amusing screw-ups though. One of them was I told them to wash out one of the units and then dry it for eight hours or so, but they forgot and left it in the oven for three days. A lot of the plastic parts melted. @_@ Another one of the same kind of unit was shipped and came back two days later after the customer refused it. The shipping company had squished it somehow. @_@

Some fun things have happened since last time too. Last weekend my son made his first communion at church which was a cause for a celebration in my family. Today is Mother's Day here in America so we all got to celebrate together with mom, and I also went to see mine as well. A lot of evenings recently I've spent playing World of Warcraft and I've been doing pretty good with it. I'm not that good at games, so it's a little surprising that I've done good with it.

Tomorrow I have to hit the road and take another trip out of town. This one is supposed to be just an overnight thing, so I shouldn't be gone very long this time. ;;

So far this has been an interesting week as well. ;; Monday and Tuesday I was gone out of town for work. This time I went to Utica, New York which is an older town in the middle of the state that seemed like a kind of quiet place to me. The work went well, only to find out on the day after I came back that the same customer broke a different unit and wanted me to come back. I was able to help them get it fixed over the phone, so now I don't have to go back there again. Today was a nutty and chaotic day at work, but it certainly went by quickly, thank goodness. Tomorrow is Friday and I'll be happy when it's done and the week from the asylum will be over. @_@

Today is the middle day of a three day weekend for me and an extra day off that I've needed for a while now. Work hasn't really changed since the last time I had posted here, but now I think I'm starting to get used to the chaos. There reaches a point when a person no longer has the stamina to swim against the current and I've gone past that point I think and I'm just floating downstream now. Life isn't all just the icckiess of work though and some good things have been happening for me. This week I finally got my plane tickets for may vacation to visit my sister. The whole family is going and everyone is really looking forward to the trip. Now I just need to find a way to anesthetize the kiddies for a seven hour plane trip. Maybe I'll use some of Kyuu-san's NyQuil. XD Another good thing is that the rain finally dried up and we've had a couple of very nice days this weekend. Today I was even able to go out for a ride on my bicycle and enjoy the outdoors. Tomorrow is Memorial Day, so I'll go to the mass that they have there every year and also go and visit where my father is buried.

I've got a week off school now, but after. I've got my end of year exans ahhhhhh! I hate them, i'm really bad at them. Also its been rainin for 2 weeks and i've got a cold again
Tomorrow, i'm visitin my grandmothers grave and were gonna be cleanin her grave stone.
I've also got my part time job to get to on Monday and Wednesday, so i wont have much time to do a much reviseing. But i'll try My parents haven't had another time to plan a holiday the half term, so i'm probably gonna do my room, help my nan and put in a couple more hours at work (i don't do much as i'm only 13, but the money helps. My parents work almost all day, so i gotta pay for myself sometimes when their out)
Probably, when i got some free time, i'm gonna try and cram some revision, by either going to the libiry

Eh-heh ... it had some help Casey-sensei. For those that weren't around for it, at the end of May, 2005, Ezboard experienced a catastrophic data loss that has become known to many as the "Ez-pocalypse". Maybe you've seen me use that term before and this event is what it refers to. All of the posts made on this forum between April 24, 2004 and May 31, 2005, more than thirteen months worth, were destroyed and never recovered. And literally thousands of other forums suffered the same loss. Of the 25,000 total posts that we had here, 18,000 were lost and more than 400 were from this LJ thread that I started keeping shortly after the MKR forum was created. Although recently I haven't been paying as much attention to this journal thread as I had in the past. That part you can attribute to me being kinda lazy, but also I got bit by the WoW bug and many evenings I've been been playing that instead. ;;

Erm, I'm back to add a few things for today. Most of today I've spent getting ready for our trip tomorrow and everyone is pretty excited about that. I did find some time for visiting online, but not that much though. Everyone has been telling me that the weather in England is very nice right now, so that will make a nice change from the damp chill and rain that has covered where I live for the past week or so. Somehow I think that Mother Nature has gotten New England and Olde England mixed up this year. So after tomorrow, I won't be around here hardly at all for the next two weeks, but Yuzuki-chan will be in charge while I'm gone so you guys had better behave yourselves!

Hi everyone! Shii-chan is back from vacation and ready to post some more boring things in here. The trip was awesome and everyone really had a great time and we saw lots of awesome things! Although the airlines were a pain in the ass like they usually nowadays, so the travel itself wasn't all that fun. On the way back we had to sit for hours in an airport and the kiddies really hated that. >_< Tomorrow is Monday and when I get back to work I'll see what sort of catastrophies will be waiting for me, lol.

And yes I called this thread an "LJ" after LiveJournal. Since I had this forum, it seemed pointless to have another site to post my thoughts and ideas, so I just post them here.

Yes, it was an awesome trip, and now after only four days of workiess I'm ready to go back again, lol. Actually work hasn't been terribly bad, it's been busy but I've been able to do a lot of my own work for once. The project that I've had for so long is really behind, but I guess that's what it takes for management to get a grip on it and let me work. This evening we just had fish for dinner and put on a movie, but one of the kiddies fell asleep already. ;; Pretty soon I'll probably wander off to WoW to kill things for a little while. After tomorrow I get a four day weekend which will be nice after a full work week. After I've been on vacation, jumping right back into work isn't always easy and I've felt tired a few days this week.

Here I sit melting away, and it's only noontime. ;; One of the nice things about being at work is that they have air conditioning in there everyday, even if it seems really cold to me all the time. I guess that I can never be satisfied with the environment temperature, lol. This past week was a short one for me because I had Monday and Tuesday off for the July 4th holiday. Over the long weekend I didn't do a whole lot, which makes me lazy I guess. During the week, the management let me continue working on one of my own projects that is still way behind, but I guess that as long as it is, they will let me keep working on it. ;; In the evenings this week it's been too warm to go outside and do any work, so I've been staying inside and chatting on the comp and reading a bit. Earlier this week I got some new manga books and I read one of them, Kamichama Karin #4, and I've also been reading Tolkien's The Silmarillion. The online game that I've been playing - World of Warcraft - was strongly influenced by Tolkien's mythology and it's been fascinating for me to find new parallels between the two as I keep playing the game. I also signed up for the closed beta of the new Lord of the Rings online game that's going to be released soon. They haven't selected me to play the beta (maybe they won't) but I'll still try the game when it comes out. http://lotro.turbine.com/
