Today wasn't nearly as busy as yesterday was. This morning I went to Sunday mass as I always do every week. However, this afternoon I spent moving my site files to a new host and messing around with SQL trying to move databases around. SQL can be really evil at times and it takes a lot of patience to work with it. Aside from that I played FFXI for a little while, but didn't do very much board hopping today.

Another Monday it was today. This morning things were slow to get going, but after a while I was able to get into my work and was rather productive for a Monday. ^_^ After I came home, I got a quick bite to eat and ran right back out again to take the kiddies out tonight. I also went shopping for manga and got myself three 3's tonight - all volume 3 of Full Moon, RG Veda, and Yotsuba&. ^_^;; After I came home I played FFXI for a little while and now I'm back here for another visit. ^_^

Oops, I seem to have slipped up and forgot to do this again yesterday ... the airheadedness never seems to go away. Today was a little different because work was very quiet. Everyone left me alone for some reason and I had no visitors today and it was just me and my work. It's good for getting things done, but kinda lonely. After work I came home and had dinner but went back out again for my church group meeting. After I came back I did a little more messing around with the site move but didn't spend lots of time on it. Now I'm back here again. ^_^

Here I am very late tonight. It was a pretty typical Friday for me during the day, but this evening I went out after dinner and went to a small local anime con that they put on every year in my town. So that's where I've been up until now. I went to a panel done by some aged fans such as myself and talked about the good old days. After that they ran some anime music videos. Some were good and some weren't, but there was a lot of Naruto ones this year. The funniest ones were an Azumanga Daioh one and one that had Alucard singing a love sonnet to Saga from Snow Fairy Sugar, it was hilarious. XD I also got to watch a few episodes of Sakura Diaries which is a somewhat more mature romance series that I thought was cute and funny at times and I liked it. ^_^

Oooh, here I am back for a second time today. This Saturday was much like any other this morning with a trip to the bowling alley. However after that I went back to the anime con. I actually met up with some other friends that I knew there which was coolies. ^_^ The first place to go was the dealer's room, where I bought a few goodies and a birthday present for a friend. I found an MKR playing card deck for myself too. :P There were many different anime showings and I was able to see Marmalade Boy, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Yakitate Japan, and The Twelve Kingdoms. Yakitate Japan and Full Metal Panic were hilarious. XD The Twelve kingdoms was just awesome. The plot is similar to Fushigi Yuugi, however it's darker and more serious. I saw five episodes and I was dying for more, so I'll get the DVD's for this one. After I came home I watched Harry Potter with the kiddies and now I finally get a chance to do online stuff for the first time today.

For the most part, it was a good day for me today. The weather was rather iccky and wet, so I didn't spend much time outdoors today. This morning I went to Sunday mass again, which is a standard for me. This afternoon I went to the last day of the anime con and spent much of the time in the dealers room chatting with people. I bought a few more anime keychains, this time some Inuyasha characters. After that I went and watched some episodes of Ah my Goddess which is always a fun and cheerful show to watch. By then they were having the closing ceremony, but I didn't stick around for that. This evening I watched a movie with the kiddies and now I get a chance to chat online again. ^_^

Here we go, more of me-ness!! :P It was another iccky wet gray Monday, and appearance-wise probably the most depressing looking day that you could ever get. Things weren't really that bad though. Work was a little nutty today, but not horribly stressful. I was happy to go home this afternoon though. This evening was a quick dinner and back out again with the kiddies tonight, but now we're all back for the night and I get another chance to stop by here. ^_^

Oooh, and I thought that the weather was iccky yesterday. >_< Today was a lot like yesterday, but it was even colder and it started to get snow mixed in with the rain at the same time. Fortunately it didn't freeze up, well not yet anyways, so there wasn't any trouble with driving. Work went a little better today for me. There were very few interruptions and I was able to get quite a bit done. ^_^ This evening I was really tired when I got home from work, so I took a nap and then had dinner afterwards. Now I have another chance to visit the forum again. ^_^

Erm, I made it here after all tonight. For a while I wasn't sure if I was going to do anything online tonight becuase I've felt kind of sickies ever since I came back from my church group meeting. It's not so bad now, but I have to go to bed soon. Today was a lot like yesterday with wet, cold weather all day, but there was only a tiny bit of snow on things outside early this morning. Work went pretty good and there weren't a lot of interruptions today, just a few from the yoyo's in the test department. This evening after dinner I went out, but as soon as I got home I started feeling a little sick, so I laid down for a while which helped and now I get a chance for a short visit.

*Yawns* Here I am, back from a very tired day today. For some reason I couldn't stop yawning all day and just wanted to go back to sleep. Fortunately work wasn't too bad today, so I got through it okay. So far I haven't seen Docs or Yuzuki-chan again, so it seems that I've ticked them off or scared them off pretty good. There was a disagreement over something that happened in FFXI and I got pretty upset with them a couple of days ago. Now I've gone beyond one of my own rules of gaming. One thing that's always bothered me about games is when people start to take things so seroiusly that the game is no longer any fun to play. After the hurt of rejection, getting upset with friends and alienating them, I'm no longer having any fun with FFXI. Now, I'm just going to sell off all of the stuff that I have and find someone to give the money to. Then I'm done with it and I'm not going to play anymore. I haven't decided if I'm going to quit the other games I play too, but I'm not going to lose any more friends over a stupid game. *dies*

*poke* Hey you...we're not mad at you. *huggle* My not being around the forum much is not because I'm upset or anything...just sort of lacking the will to post, so to speak. We still wanna play with you and stuffs.

Hikaru-chan, I assure you that I am in no way upset with you. My not posting for the past few days is due to the fact that I?m lacking the desire to be on the computer? it?s in no way related to you or FFXI. I?m sorry if you have misunderstood something.

I'm sorry about getting upset with you guys, I'm supposed to be a big kid now and should just get over it. I'm just glad that you're not holding it against me. *Huggles* However, I'm not going to be playing anymore either. When it comes to games I've always had a serious lack of ambition and level characters very slowly. So far I've been playing FFXI for over a year, and by now a serious player would have leveled several jobs to 75. It would be very unfair of me to ask you guys to not go on without me, that would be holding you back and I don't want to do that. There must of been some sense of that already since you two went on without me. Also, you two probably play most often at hours that are too late for me to stay up at night which is also a problem as far as meeting up in game. When I get done selling all of the stuff, I'll send the Gil to you guys, there should be a decent amount of it.

Its too bad we can't play together because of the times we play and stuff. *huggle*

It's okay, I don't mind taking care of the stuff because I'm still back in town and close to the auction house. There's too many to fit in someone's delivery box and most of it wouldn't be useful for fighting anyways. Staying up until 2am in the morning is something that I just can't do and still expect to function the next day. My original character I might keep and still play, but I've anyways gone solo with that one to begin with. In the past I've been able to join up with someone and play for one night, but that was it and I'd never see them again afterwards. Maybe that's how the game was meant to be played instead of trying to form long term friendships like I do on the forums. Yes, I'm never too old to learn something ...

So I guess that I learned something today. It really wasn't a very exciting day for me this Friday. I did get paid today and I also finished up the latest job I've been doing at work and that will help clear the slate for next week. On Monday I'll have some customers coming to see me from Mitsubishi so that should be interesting. This evening I haven't been doing very much except chatting online, oooh but I did pack up a birthday present for a friend that I will have to mail out tomorrow. So it looks like that's it until next time ...

Things were okay for the most part today. The weather was really nice for once so I went out to do a few things. I went shopping and to the post office to mail a birthday present to a friend. This morning I also took the kiddies to the bowling alley and that was a lot of fun too. This afternoon I did some online stuff, but that was about it, so it was a pretty easy day today. ^_^

Hmm, things were slow again today for me. Besides Sunday mass this morning, I also did some compy maintenance and updates, but that's really boring stuff to talk about. This afternoon I visited online for a bit but also did work around the house too, so again not very exciting stuff there either. The forum has been really slow lately and it looks I might be headed back into one of the lonely times like I used to have here. It can be kind of discouraging, but I'll keep on coming here until things pick up again.

Last night I was kind of busy with Halloween stuff, so I didn't get to spend a lot of time here, so I wasn't able to do one of these then. There were quite a few kiddies that came to get treats at my house last night and I tried not to scare them too much. Well, I'm not really a scary person to begin with I don't think. ^_^;; Work was pretty interesting yesterday and I spent most of it with some visitors from the Far East. The weather was rather nice for a change yesterday and it wasn't to cold to take the kiddies out for trick or treat.

Here I am, back for a really short visit. Today went pretty well for me and nothing really went screwy on me. Work was quiet and not very stressful, but I also got away early to go to see the eye doctor. Yes, after all these years Shii-chan is finally going to get glasses. :P That was kind of interesting because I'd never gone for an eye exam before. After I came home from that, I had no desire to look at a computer screen, well until now anyways. Sometime next week I should get them finished and hopefully I'll won't be so blind anymore ...

Not to mention glasses will make you extra cute. =P

I'm not sure if they'll make me look more cute or not, but it will be a little different. ^_^;;



Today was less interesting than yesterday for sure. Most of today I did some programming stuff, but it was pretty boring actually. I got interrupted a lot, but today that wasn't such a bad thing because it kept me from falling asleep. :P This evening I went out to one of my church group meetings and that went very well tonight. ^_^ Now I think that I'll have to go to bed soon, so it will be a short visit here unfortunately.

Hmm, things were okay for me today I guess. The weather was a little warm today, well for November anyways, but really windy, so not too bad. Work was more chaotic than it has been recently with all sorts of odd things going on. Not necessarily bad things, just odd and unexpected. I'll be happy when tomorrow is over and it's a weekend again. :P This evening I went to meet a friend to drop some letters off. It was a little ways down the road, but not too far and gave me something to do after work was over. This evening I just had a quick dinner and chatted online for a bit. Now I'm back from selling more stuff on FFXI.

Yaayy! It's the weekend again! XD Another Friday night and I'm home on the comp as usual, but I guess that keeps me out of trouble. Work was pretty slow today and sort of boring, but there were a few interesting moments here and there. This evening I came home and played Guild Wars for a little while. Even if I stop playing FFXI, there are still other games for me to play. :P Now I finally get a chance to visit the forum and I see that it's been slow again today too. Hopefully things will pick up again soon ...

Yes, I've been bad again to wait so long to come and see what's been happening here at the forum today. v_v Things went pretty good for me today and were rather typical for a Sunday. This morning I went to mass as I always do and when I came back I played FFXI for a little while, sold more goodies and killed gobs for a bit. This afternoon I watched some videos with the kiddies, did laundry, and some other mundane stuff. This evening it stormed pretty good here, so I had to stay shutdown for a while, but now I'm here! :P

Shii-chan is back for another one of these tonight. It wasn't so bad for a Monday today though. This morning I was sort of tired at first, but after I got into my work, things cleared up for me and the rest of the day went fine after that. This evening I just had a real quick dinner and went right back out again. I went to the bookstore and bought some more manga books tonight. This time I finally got TRC #7 after waiting for months, I got Pita-ten Official Fan Book #1, Full Metal Panic Overload #2 and Kamichama Karin #1. The Pita-ten Official Fan book is interesting because it's not actually made by Koge Donbo, instead it's other mangaka doing their own stories with the Pita-ten characters. Very much like fanfiction, but manga art to go with it. ^_^ My son is also a big Pokemon nut and I saw a couple of Pokemon manga books there and bought those for him. It's a Christmas present though. :P

Today was a lot like yesterday at work except that I wasn't so tired in the morning. It was a little chaotic, but not too bad. When I got out this afternoon it was dark of course which is one of the depressing things about this time of the year. However, I did get a nice sight in the sky - the fading sunset in the West, the planet Venus in the Southwest, the Moon to the South and Mars to the East. A pretty celestial arc across the sky. ^_^ After work, I went for a short shopping trip then came home for dinner and played Guild Wars for a little while. Now I get a chance to come back here, but things have been very quiet again at the forum today.

Hmm, so how did things go for me today? For the most part rather well I thought. Things weren't very busy at work so the stress level wasn't very high. This evening was wet and rainy, so there wasn't any pretty celestial show for me like there was yesterday. My church group had the week off today, so I just stayed home and chatted online for a little while and played FFXI a tiny bit too. Now I'm feeling a little tired and should probably get ready for bed soon.

I came back here to see that today is Shiro-san's birthday and it's good to see something fun happen here again. ^_^

Teeheehee, I was lazy and didn't do one of these last night. :P Well I went to bed early so I'm not sure if that's considered being lazy or not. Today started out like every Saturday morning with a trip to the bowling alley with the kiddies. After lunch I went to get the car fixed again, this time it needed to have the muffler replaced. Then I came home and read some manga for a little while and finished TRC #7. This evening my brother and sister-in-law came to visit and brought their kiddies with them, so the cousins all got to play together for a while. They always have lots of fun when they get to be together like that. ^_^

Things were a little quieter at my house today but it was just as busy as yesterday I think. This morning I went to Sunday mass as I do every weekend and after I came back I had some lunch and visited online for a short time. This afternoon we cleaned and put in the storm windows for the winter. I also watched some DVD movies with the kiddies too. Some pretty normal stuff and not very exciting I guess. ^_^;;

This is a great idea. I would have never thought about writing my own Journal on a message board, but then again, I rather have some of my daily activities to remain private.

Erm, just don't trust Ezboard with your daily memoires. I lost more than 400 entries in this when the Ez-pocalypse ruined most of the forum.



Today was actually pretty good for a Monday. The worst of it happened first thing this morning when I went to the town hall before work to pay my property tax again. Another nice, healthy bite out of my little wallet, but I guess that I should be happy that I actually own property to pay taxes on. Work went really smoothly today with very few surprises. I had a fun surprise here today when a couple my friends from another forum came to pay us a visit. It's been about a year since I'd met Mi and Kyuu, but this was the first time that they broke into my house here. XD



After work I came home and visited online for a little while and watched more anime. I'm nearly finished with Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne now, only three episodes left to go ...

Things went pretty good for me again today, very much like yesterday except that nothing really important happened today. Work went by pretty quickly because I kept busy and didn't goof off too much today. :P This evening the weather turned wet and dreary, but didn't freeze over like the weather people were threatening it would. After having dinner, I chatted with friends for a while, oh and I called one of them on the phone to wish them a happy birthday. ^_^

Today was sort of a weird day. For one thing, the weather was rather warm today and I think the temperature got as high as 70 around noontime before it started raining this afternoon. Then it got really windy and rained a lot up until just a little while ago. One of the kiddies was sickiess today and didn't go to school, so I had to have my mom come and pick her up. The poor thing was really tired and slept all day. v_v Work wasn't too bad today and I finished part of the programming project that I've been working on. This evening I went out to one of my church group meetings again, and that went pretty good too. Now I finally get a chance to see what's been happening here today. ^_^

The weather today was much more normal for this time of the year than it was yesterday. It was chilly, gray and a little windy - very typical for a New England November. Work went pretty smoothly, but I had to leave early so that I could go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. That was good too - no cavities! :P This evening I went to the school for a parent-teacher meeting to talk about how the kiddies were doing in school and in general rather well I thought. After I came home I finally got a chance to do a little online stuff. ^_^

For some reason I didn't do one of these last night, I think that I was too tired and just went to bed. Today was a pretty good day for me I think. This morning I took the kiddies to the bowling alley, but this afternoon I was a little lazy and didn't do very much. Mostly I watched anime - I finished Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and watched a few episodes of Hyper Police. Natsuki is so much like Hikaru from MKR that it's creepy although she seems to lack Hikaru's angsty, serious dimension. This evening after dinner I went out to see the new Harry Potter film, which I thought was good, but I've been told by those that have read the book that many scenes were left out. My favorite parts were Harry's battle with the dragon and him in the bath with Myrtle. XD

Today was actually pretty uninteresting, even for a Monday. I was able to get a decent amount of work done today because pretty much everyone left me alone to do my work. The only time that got wasted was when the IT guy came to install a new hardware in my comp and it didn't work. :P Today I noticed that more posts were missing from the forum, so that was just the little push that I needed to go and buy the IPB license that I need for the new forum to run. So it's possible that I might get around to converting the whole thing over this weekend ... if RL doesn't keep me too busy. ^_^;;

Things were a little more exciting for me today. The weather outside was cold, wet, and windy and about as bad as it gets for this time of the year, so it was a good day to be at work. This morning I kept myself pretty busy and didn't get much time to sneak online. :P We had a long, boring meeting after lunch this afternoon and I spent the rest of the time answering phone calls. This evening there's just been more snowy weather so I've just been doing online stuff. I bought an IPB license and have started doing the conversion of the forum. The character forums in the basement are done and I've been working my way up to the larger sections that will be done last. Now I can come and post some more instead of work on the forum. XD

Today was the end of a short week for me. The weather turned rather cold today and it really did feel like winter out there today. The messy precipitation that we got yesterday all froze up last night, so it was a little tricky getting around this morning. Work went smoothly without any issues today and they even let us go home an hour early. I got my old car back from the shop today, so it's all fixed again which my mom was really happy about. :P This evening I've been doing online things and I played FFXI for a littlw while too. Now I'm back here again. ^_^

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Well to all American members anyways ^_^;;) Yes today was turkey day again in the US, so it was a time for me to get together with family and eat lots of food. This year we all went to my mom's house and had dinner and yes I ate waay too much. @_@ The cousins all got together to play for a while after dinner and had a great time while I was able to visit with my other family members. I just came home a little while ago and now I finally get a chance to see what's been happening on the forum today.

Hmm, here I am back again! ^_^ Today was another day off for me because of the Thankgiving holiday. This morning I was lazy and just did online stuff including some more of the forum conversion. We all went out together and had lunch and then went to the bowling alley with the kiddies. They had a lot of fun there. ^_^ This evening I did a little reading and chatted online some more, but now it's getting close to time for bed for me.

Here's my first one of these made at the new forum! Pretty much all of this afternoon I spent finishing the conversion of the forum to IPB, but it was time well spent as I was able to save more than 26,000 posts from the old Ezboard forum. There's still an amount of work to do, but at least everyone is free to post here. This morning was much like every Saturday with a trip to the bowling alley with the kiddies. After dinner this evening I needed some time away from the compy so I did some reading. After I saw the latest Harry Potter film and people told me that a lot was left out, I decided to read the book. I started a few days ago and I'm about halfway done.

In general things have been going well for me. The forum conversion had me a little frayed yesterday, but I think that I'm over the biggest hurdles now with less impotant issues to take care of. Today I installed a couple of new themes that are a little more pleasant to look at than the forum default. The Valentine one is cute, but a little early for that yet. This morning I went to Sunday mass as usual and afterwards I brought communion to an elderly woman at her apartment for the first time and she turned out to be really sweet. This afternoon I read some more and did a few things to clean up around the house. I also did some more setup work on the new forum here. This evening I watched a Harry Potter DVD with the kids and chatted online for a little bit too, and now I'm back here again.
