Not only is there practically zero chance of my getting selected to participate, I have a serious lack of people wanting to do it with me and the confidence level's pretty low...blah. Only a sure "yes!" will get me motivated to send in the entry form which is due June 5th by fax or must be postmarked May 29th and received by June 5th by mail...

There are a lot of reasons for me being scarce around here, but it doesn't really matter what they are because I still feel bad about not seeing you guys anymore. Well, it's mostly in passing without actually being present with another person, but forums still allow conversations in passing like that. It's still better to have real ones like this where I can talk about daily activities like going to Home Depot to get stuff for the yard and going to Memorial Day mass and visiting the cemetary where my dad is buried. That's pretty much what I've done today, not very exciting stuff though.

Hello to Hikaru-san~

I went out for lunch this Memorial Day and am currently trying to avoid the phone calls to family. I've been in contact with most of them plenty, and having to talk to them with my dad also there (we use the speaker phone) is just awkward. o_o;

I start driver's ed the 11th, by the way. So if any of you happen to be in Iowa around then, don't get run over by me. XD;

My mom has an old antique piano that still plays good, but I never learned to play it myself. Just not very musical I guess ... v_v

I have an organ in this house, for reasons I haven't figured out yet. It was originally supposed to only be staying here while a friend was cleaning the house, but it's been over a year. I can play it though since the keys are marked and I know how to count notes from my violin playing days. ^^;

I only see myself at the moment.

As far as pianos go...my mother know how to play and is seriously pursuing open her own studio to give out lessons. ^^;
