Topic: Just a few rules.... please add!!

here are a few rules that i have thought of.. please add if you think of anymore.. ^_^

* no god playing
* if you are speaking please use " " marks
* in non semi literate RPGS an action should be inbetween * * marks.
* in semi literate RPGS the story should be written as though a story with no * * marks
* please put a character profile before posting...
* if a non RPG comment needs to made please use either OCC: or (( )) marks
* no saying whether a weapon 'hits' someone else
* no perfect players... the weakness's must be obvious to others at times please..
* no players that change more than once.. your character is your character profile.. NOBODY ELSE (except minor extra characters)
* you must stick to the storyline as best as possible


please feel free to add to this ^__^

* If someone is having a big "scene" with someone else but hasn't posted. DONT post. That person is just left behind and the rp makes no sense.

* PLEASE check the spelling of your posts before posting and correct anything that may not be readable. There is a spell check function on the forum, use it - no excuses ^_^

It's irritating when the flow of a good roleplay is broken up by having to work out what everything means, or the brain-jerk when the wrong word is there or something (Amy's typo in this post was a good example of this actually ^_^)

And thank you Amy for saying that either you use stars in your RPG or you don't, not a mish-mash of the two v_v

I have heard from many members who have been taking part in a RPG or numerous ones that the post counts are mounting and they are losing the plot.
Due to this I will limit all members to no more than 2 posts per member per RPG per day. (basically dont post more than twice on any rpg ^_~)
This means that people wont get lost in the stories and have to kill if their characters.
If you are absent for any reason and you know already please give your character something to do that will occupy them for how ever long and other members must be respectful of that.
Any absences that last longer than a week may cause the RPG’s to close down temporarily.

It seems like a good idea to me Amy-chan. I think that I've lost track of all of the RPG threads and so I haven't been involved with any of them in soo long. I'm really sorry about that everyone. There is a lot for me to read in order to get caught up, but I'll try. BTW, can I join in with any of them?
