Topic: I don't even know if anyone comes here anymore...

Well, I've dropped in, and hopefully I'm here to stay, but I don't know if anyone else still hangs around.

What's happened in Diamond's life? Well, I've moved to Canada and gotten married. I'm working on writing a novel, and when I have my permanent residency approved, I am thinking about going to medical school instead of going back to nursing school. Maybe we'll start a family in a couple of years...but right now the two of us are just enjoying each other's company. We're both young yet...

Maybe I should say, that the person I have married is a woman. I'm a lesbian, and since coming out, my relationship with my father has gone from rocky to falling off a cliff. But my mother and I are closer than ever...I've confirmed my belief that I can come to her for anything and she'll still love and respect me. So it's no big loss that my butt-hole of a dad can't handle my marriage to Amy. I love Amy and I love my dad, but seriously, if Dad wants to cut off contact, it's his loss.

Anyway, I think that's all I need to say right now...I hope I'm not the only one who's coming by now. I miss everyone I met here and I hope we'll all be one big community again!

Hiya D-chan long time no see! *hugs* ^_^

I still drop by to sweep the floors and look after the old place, but sadly it has been many months since anyone else besides me has posted anything here. Poor Maki-chan has had to bury a lot of the old members in the estate cemetery ... but I guess it's even more sad that no one has come back from the dead. v_v I see that Maki got a visitor at the castle, so I'll have to see how she handles the surprise.

And things certainly have changed for you since last time! Wow! Congratulations on your marriage and new life in Canada! *hugs* ^_^  Hopefully there will be many years of happiness for the both of you. It's sad that your dad feels the way he does, but with time I think he will soften up a bit after he realizes that your relationship is real and not going to end anytime soon. I have a sister-in-law that is also les and she has been together with her partner for many years now. Everyone in the family is okay with them and there aren't any problems. I don't think they can get married yet in the state they live in, but that's not all that important to them I think. They're more worried about finding a bigger house to live in. ^_^;; They have a happy family with two kids they adopted after being foster parents for a while and I think I can see the same happening for you and Amy too in the not so distant future.
