if anyone spoke to a chem tracher about Escaflowne they'd think we were nuts and just walk away like mine. unless that certain chem teacher watched it and was obssesed with it. I wonder if there are any chem teachers like that.

Our teacher did admit that she though we were a little crazy. But she also said that everyone needs top be a little crazy which is cool.

Chemistry in high school was actually a pretty easy class, and the powders that I had to make for the experiments usually came out like the stuff in the jars of store bought stuff. The teacher used to accuse me of cheating, so he sat there and watched me do one once. Most of the others weren't as lucky though. Some launched test tubes across the room, other spilled sodium hydroxide on the floor which made it slippery as a skating rink. Another time, the fumes made someone in the class ill, and everyone just stood out of the way and let her plop on the floor. No one tried to catch the poor thing. v_v

The power converter thingies that my company makes have to get tested before we ship them of course, and that's one of the many things that I've done there. Every once in a while, there is a problem and one of them will blow up. There isn't a big ball of fire like in the movies, but it's usually very loud and sometimes smoking afterwards.
