Just in the constraints of Higurashi Kai, taishou.a is a lot nicer in sound, I think, but I like Naraku no Hana a little better.

Naraku no Hana has its low points and high points, while taishou.a is in a pretty general range, and easier to sing...I can sing both with little difficulty, but I understand what you mean. I mean, that's the case for me with a lot of songs. One more bit that makes me prefer Naraku no Hana a little more is that I actually understand the lyrics with no translation - songs often mean more to me when I can understand them without translation.

Ahaha, I still have a ways to go before I can fully understand any japanese lyrics without translation... Though I'm beginning to understand whole sentences at a time.

Personally, I tend to be able to understand the general feel of a song; even if I don't understand what it says. Once, I was listening to a song...and I just started crying.

I do that better with instrumentals. The foreignness of the words and the fact that I don't know what it's saying often gets in the way of my actually feeling whatever feeling the song's supposed to have.
