Let's see how likes a simple conjuration.

"Come forth and destroy my enemy, o dogs of death! Urbat!" I shouted, and on the order, several black snarling dogs appeared at my side. I pointed forward at the old man whose name I still don't know and cried "Get him!"

And swiftly the dogs ran to attack him.

[Yuki Fukurou]

Narya had a smirk on his face and raised his staff and casted his spell.

"Elemental Force of Wind, aid me. MeJuk Rom!" he shouted, unleashing a huge tornado blast at the hounds that were heading towards him.

Narya then twirled his staff a couple of times and then chanted a different spell. This time, it was a summoning spell.

"Forceful Element of Wind, I call upon your aid. Come forth...Guardian of Wind...Wryneck!" he shouted.

Suddenly, the winds started picking up speed and force, and then a creature with a head resembling that of a bird of prey, appeared, holding a small tree in its hand. Its eyes began to glow as it unleashed a powerful gust of wind surrounding the dogs and picking them up at the same time.

"Uh, you can let 'em go old man. Ina Etuti Asbu!" As the wind surrounded and pummeled my attack dogs, from my staff came a large ball made of dark power that made its way towards the wind, breaking through it and providing the dogs of death with a rather formidable shield of darkness.

"And while we uphold that shield, let's use a direct attack spell. From the depths of the ocean, I call upon the power of the goddess of ocean, Tiamat. Direct your rage at my enemy, Tiamatu!" I chanted the incantation required for Astartu's own spell, which I could utilize through Alal's power. Practically all known spells could be utilized through Alal...and if I saw his attacks enough, I could match the old man with his own spells.

Towards the old man came a sizable torrent of water, prepared to wash away everything he had...

[Yuki Fukurou]

Narya took to the air again and this time, casted a double spell.

"Me Juk Kruz!" he yelled, unleashing this time, a series of leaves at the dogs. Then at a certain height, casted the next one. "Juk Zot!" From that spell very high and tall trees came forth and that said, managed to keep the mage on high ground for the meantime as the wave crashed through.

If that's the way you want to play...

I call upon the awesome powers of the abyss,
That trench which devours all things.

Judgment of Hell!

Probably my favorite, the Judgment of Hell is one of Alal's most powerful spells. Unless the enemy can control divine power not attached to the winds, the earth, the water, or the flame, resistance is futile. The earth will quake with powerful earthquakes, the waters will churn and devour everything with its might. The winds will blow powerfully, leaving no refuge. And fire, like water, will devour everything in its path. Let's see you withstand that, old man.

(OOC: Eep! I missed alot! Sorry, sorry! You guys are fast! )

After the two enemies had retreated, the girl mage lost her temper and challenged the old mage to a duel, which was currently taking place, and continuing fiercely! However, the girl had just released a mass destruction spell. Luthien was not very skilled in magic, but she knew that this particular spell was nigh impossible to escape. Like a shadow, she appeared at the side of the boy from earlier--the magic swordsman.

"If I were you, I would move. And fast." She whispered, startling him.
"This is a mass destruction spell--nearly impossible to escape." She continued. "My suggestion? We climb the trees and get further away from here. If you have a better idea, it would be best to state it within the next ten seconds--before the spell hits." She finished in a surprisingly calm tone.

~Ereshkigal~

"Khak!" Someone hit me with a stone. A rock. A freakin' boulder. Who the hell could through something that big?

And damn! That screwed up my spell. What the hell could happen if the Judgment of Hell is screwed up?! And with that much power already mustered simply by starting the incantation, I don't know what'll happen!

...ugh...I know now...

"Yaaaaargh!!!" All the powers I called upon were now attacking me...waters washed over my body, flame rained down from the heavens onto me, the winds were attacking me, the trees, earth, everything that aligned itself with the powers of earth were attacking me. And such pain did it give me! Weakening...weakening...weakening...good bye...

[Yuki Fukurou]

Jurai turned to the elf that was beside him.

"I agree," he said. With that said, he then took to the air and climbed higher and higher till he nearly reached the top of the tree he was currently on.

Just as he landed, he heard a familiar scream, followed by a series of noise that came afterward.

"Heh...looks like the big bang was suddenly foiled and scattered right around the starter," he realized. "Looks like he got lucky from that big attack."

"Ugh...why would someone do something like that?" wondered the mage. 'And it was just getting good too.' He then made an annoyed pout looking face.

Meanwhile, back atop where Jurai was standing, he then spotted the elf starting to catch up.

Oh dear, I can't be approaching death now. It's too early for someone like me...and I haven't even yet acquired the pendant...duels are meant to direct killing energy at your opponent...I'm not sparring here! I was serious...

Then some smart aleck decided to throw a rock at me. I couldn't do anything about it, or I'd screw up the spell, and besides, I didn't even know it was coming until it already hit.

"Hey, old man...by chance...you won..." I said, rather weakly, and winked at him. "Never got the chance to know your name, but that's fine..." I tried to stand up from the place where all of that energy pummeled me to near death. "Trust me though...you'll see me again sometime. And maybe then we can have a real duel...hahaha..." With that, I began a teleportation spell to return me to Suur. It's been two weeks since I've been back home...

~Astartu~

(OOC: About time I started putting stuff up for her too.)

"Hey, Suria, you feel that weird wave of energy?" I asked. It's not normal for large amounts of energy to be emitted from anything, whether a tome, a battle, a staff, or any other kind of magical device. Suria looked at me strangely and shook his head. I made a face. Was he really that out of tune with this surroundings? Gee.

I played around with the pendant I just bought as Suria and I walked around Tavindal to find some more things to bring home. We had long said goodbye to Sir Ramoria, and it had been quite a while since Suria managed to "sober me up" again. I wasn't even drunk!

Ah, it's beautiful...golden chain...azurite, deep blue... And Suria bought it for me! I picked him up and hugged him as we walked along. He struggled, of course. Ehehe.

[Yuki Fukurou]

"I beg your pardon sir, but...if it wasn't for that mage who started this whole ordeal, do you think the game would have then scattered off?" he asked, calmly. "For your information sir, I happen to know the effects of that spell. However...that mage forgot to put one factor into mind. 1 of the four elements I'm well aware of I can easily control to combat the remaining 3. On top of that...there was a different evil presence here before that mage showed up. One more powerful than she. Although she did prove to be quite an opponent. So if I were you, I'd be grateful that the spell didn't hit you, otherwise, you would've been in great peril and there would have been nothing I could do to prevent that."

After the fray was over, Jurai went down a couple of tree branches and saw his teacher below.

Looking up, Narya spotted him.

"I see you luckily managed to get out of harm's way for the time being," he said, chuckling.

"Yeah. But...was all that noise due to someone messing up her concentration?" asked Jurai.

"Of course. Otherwise, the spell would've hit me head on," he said.

[Shirotatsu]

Strangely, there were two things Ereshkigal didn't think of, and they number 1 and 3. *sweatdrops* Ah, no, of course not...they mean "one of four" to combat "three"...that's why it didn't make sense. ^_~

Ah, home...now it is time to lie down and just die for a while...besides, not only does Judgment of Hell require a lot of energy, getting hit by it after trying to summon all that power could've killed me...it's a surprise I haven't died yet.

~Astartu~

"Suria, it's time to go back now!" I was now in a good mood. No Ereshkigal to bother me, no crazy stuff...

[Presea]

Ah, one of the cat-folk... Luthien watched with interest as he landed in front of the mage. She had never studied much on cat people, and actually meeting one seemed quite rare for her. Luthien leaped lightly off of the tree branch she had been perched upon, landing nimbly on the ground in front of the cat-man and mage.

"Ah, so you were the one who threw the rock." She said, studying him carefully. She had sensed it earlier, although she did not know in which direction his presence had come from at the time. "Oh, but forgive my rudeness. I am Luthien, of the Nanion Woods." She said, bowing slightly. "I have never met one of the cat-folk in person." She added, extending a hand in greeting.

[Yuki Fukurou]

As Jurai turned to where Narya was, he didn't realized that he had already left, leaving him with a big "?" on his head.

'Ok. That's odd,' he thought. Looking at the horizon, it was getting close to the afternoon. Heaving a sigh, he then decided to head back home. Giving a quick, but sharp whistle, which could easily be heard through the forest, a series of hoofbeats came from the the East direction and then a white stallion appeared in the distance.

"Good to see you Theodora," he said, stroking the back of his horse. He then used his left feet to get himself up and his right foot to give himself a boost. With no saddle on the horse's back, it would appear to the others that he seems ridiculous without one.

Turning to Luthien, he said, "I'm sorry for not having introduce myself earlier. My name's Jurai. And what might yours be?"

By all that is good, if it isn't Sir Jurai once again. I don't understand it, but this spot in the forest appears to have quite a bit of significance to travelers to Tavindal in the past day! And of all the people to see three times in one day, it is Sir Jurai. But there's an elf with him, as well as one of the cat people... Suria always liked calling himself one of the Cattish race, but it seems that word has never been recorded in Privalar's history. Hey, I like it, so I'll keep calling him what he pleases.

I felt, though, that a large amount of energy was used here...nature doesn't normally give off such an abundance of any kind of energy, and in this case, the amount of all four basic elements lingered in almost dangerous quantities. It would be best to dispel it all, but that's not something I learned to well in school...

"If three times we should cross paths, then the Fates have called us to accompany each other. Sir Jurai, I, Astartu, present myself to you once again." I said, in language more formal than I normally used, even with strangers.

Reciting the same "fateful" introduction, Suria re-introduced himself. Of course, the little idiot noticed the cat person...

[Yuki Fukurou]

Jurai then noticed Astartu and her brother had found his location due to the previous...noise caused by the magical battle that ensued some time ago.

Bowing his head, he acknowledged. "Lady Astartu...the Fates have been too kind. I'm glad we should meet again," he said, taking her hand and kissing it.

Suddenly, Jurai's horse started to rear back as though something was disturbing it.

"Whoa...easy girl. Easy," he said, trying to calm it down. "What is it?"

Suddenly, the winds picked up suddenly.

Then the clouds started gathering.

"A storm approaches. We must find shelter!" he shouted.

For as soon as he mentioned that, the rain then started to fall.

[Kyouka-chan]

OOC: Then of four, two have come to the same conclusion. I'll slow it down. Perhaps one post per person until all four have posted...

OOC: Sounds good to me. (I'll check every now and then to see if any of us are around and probably after some time I'll check to see if there's any new post.)

(OOC: That's a good idea. I like it. )

"If you desire to get out of the rain follow me, I have a cabin nearby." Hornfel said.
"Ah, that would be much appreciated." Luthien replied, glacing up at the sky. She had only just arrived near Tivandal, and had not yet had a chance to find a place to stay.
"Oh, but one moment." She turned, and with her mind, contacted her mare, guiding it to a place in the forest she was sure the horse would find suitable shelter. She received a brief acknowledgement. Nodding with satisfaction, she turned back.
"Lead the way. And please, do not fear of traveling at your most convenient pace. I will follow from the trees." And with that, she bounded up into the nearest tree, and was soon high in the branches.

"That's sounds like a good idea," said Jurai, who then decided to follow Hornfel and the others. Remembering that he had a cloak on, he then decided to lift up the hood to cover his head and the rest of his clothes.

'I hope my dad's doing good,' he thought, as he continued to follow Hornfel.
