Hi everyone! It's probably appropriate that I introduce myself this way too, since Diamond-chan is probably the only one that really knows me already. I'm MJ-san, or MJ-chan, or just MJ. ^_^;; I met Diamond-chan at my Henheart's Forum and that's how we got together and set up this new forum here. I'm the site owner of henheart.com, but I'm not going to try and be the boss around here or anything like that. That's Diamond's job :P but I'll probably stop by and chat now and then. ^_^

*hugs Sakaki* *hugs the other girls as well* Azumanga Daioh is the best! XD! Kaorin's outbursts are wonderful, Yomi-chan has the best left hook, Tomo-chan is CRAZY!, Osaka is so blaaaaaaaaaaank, Kagura is incredibly cute, but Chiyo-chan is the cutest! Nyamo is a champ, and Yukari is also CRAZY!

Osaka is probably the biggest anime space cadet there ever was, but she's just soo funny that I can't help but like her! ^_^;; Sakaki is one of my favorites because she's so trusting and innocent, very much like Chiyo-chan. Sakaki is always so worried about not being cute because she is tall, but she is probably the cutest of them all. Kagura is a great character because she is so affectionate and really cares about her friends, even though she doesn't seem the type at first. Yomi is interesting because she changes so quickly. Sometimes she's really calm and collected, but other times she'll belt you a good one, but don't ever call her fat, because she will go hide in the corner and cry. ^_^;; Kaorin's crush on Sakaki is just soo adorable, and I felt soo bad when she got transferred to Kimura's class. Poor Kaorin-chan!! Waaaaaahhh!! T_T

*hugs Kaorin* I know! Poor girl. I actually had an idea for an Azumanga Daioh fanfiction. It's set five years after they graduate at Chihiro's wedding (remember her? She's only a very, very minor character but also appears to be Kaorin-chan's best friend). Kaorin, being the planner of the wedding, decides to invite Sakaki (gee, I wonder why. XD!), Chiyo-chan (who is now 18! She might turn out to be "American" like Sakaki after all!) and the rest of the girls. Naturally, Yukari shows up for some unknown reason (hey, she's Yukari-chan. XD).
 As for how they've done in the world, I think I want to have Tomo and Yomi sharing an apartment (Yomi unemployed, and Tomo having a successful, satisfiying job. XD), Sakaki still in vet school, Osaka out of college but still living at home until the idea ot move out occurs to her, Kagura as a swim coach (I'm betting on she was injured somehow so her dreams of fame are gone already. *sniff* Aww! Poor, poor Kagura-chan) and Chiyo-chan back home from America for a visit, with Tadakichi-san very old but nonetheless alive!
 Wow, that took awhile to explain. ^^
 By the way, sometime next week I'll be online a heap, and if you have MSN, I can send you some of my Azu Daioh screencaps and character songs.

I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you right away Emily-chan. v_v This past week I was away out of town, but I'm back now and I'd still like to see what you have for Azu screenshots ^_^ My msn is in my profile, but I don't know yours, so you'll have to add me. ^_^

The fanfic idea that you have is really cool, but I don't like the idea of poor Kagura-chan being injured like that. Maybe you could have her win an Olympic medal or something like that, and then have her sort of "retire" to become a swim coach?
