Hmm, I think Monday would be a better option, for me at least. ^_^;; And I can always house Robin, if he could get down here, but I don't know about that, you'd have to speak to him. Erm, as to meeting us, I really really don't think you want to visit Redditch, even if we're there... there's nothing for the kiddies to do. It's just a giant housing estate really. I'm just wondering if there's anywhere else we could meet you, that's a little more interesting... ^_^;;

Ooops, sorry about that Robin ... too many things going on for me I guess. ^_^;; Erm, I don't know where we would meet if not in Redditch? I'm sure it would be okay with my sis if everyone came here, but this place is a pretty small village and there isn't much to do here either. They do have a cricket pitch and a pub though ... :P Since I don't know a lot about what's around this area, maybe someone has an idea of where to meet? I also want to see Oxford (might go there today), but I'm not sure if I want to go to Stratford now ... what are "Morris Men"? O.o;; Birmingham seems like a busy place and it would be interesting to see the city and go shopping, but the kiddies might not enjoy that so much.

Oh my goodness! What would we do without our friends?

Morris Men dance an apparently traditional English dance called the Morris dance which involves skipping around with bells on their eblows/knees, waving handerchieves and knocking sticks together. They pop up every so often in Stratford to amuse the tourists, usually in the middle of the road while I'm trying to cross it. It cou;d be quite fun for to watch though, come to think of it ^_^;

Monday's out for me I'm afraid since I think that my exams last roughly a week longer than the other guys' - so if I don't get to see you MJ, I'll send my best wishes ^_^

Oooh, shopping sounds like fun ... maybe we could meet in Birmingham someplace before going on to Redditch? I'm not sure when you would return from there, but meeting sometime in there evening would be okay too. ^_^

Hmm, the Morris Men still sounds pretty scary to me ... sort of like the Teletubbies. O.o;; Today we did go to Oxford and I was surprised about how much activity there is there, but I guess that college towns are like that. We went to a science museum but had to leave because the kiddies wouldn't keep their hands off of things. >_< After that we had lunch at the Covered Market they call it. I was surprised at how much shopping there was there too, one side of the town is the university and the other side is all shopping. We went to the church and cathedral which was really awesome to see and I got a lot of pictures from there. The kiddies liked to see a couple of the familiar places that they saw in the Harry Potter movies like the entrance hall and the great hall. Tomorrow we're going to go to London and it would be great to see Simmiess there, but I have no idea where she lives or even if her parents would let her meet with us. We're supposed to go and see some of the big sights in the central city area.

That's sad to hear about your exams Caz-chan. *huggles* v_v I wish that there was a way around that, but trying to meet up some evening and arranging the train schedule for the trip would probably be difficult ... and I'm not really sure where I'd have to go anyways. ^_^;;

I can't travel anywhere atm.  People coming here in a few days and my mums going away at the weekend to see people in the noth of Scotland so I have to look after the animals. I haven't a chance of going south.

Today we went to see the London Eye and Westminster Abbey and I thought that both places were pretty cool. The kiddies didn't seem to enjoy those places very much, but I think that they liked our adventure on the Tube. :P

Indeed. Plus, I wasn't in that part of London today, I was in a decidedly poorer location. *sob sob*

I'm not trying to cause a stir or anything but why do you sound really bitchy about Mj being here Robin.
:/
Ok, I guess it's proberly me but you sound really annoyed which I personally don't think is fair.
Ok I'll be quiet.
Hayfevers making me irritated I guess.
*rips out eyes, nose and throat*
>O<

Mj, you've been to 2 places in London I've never been.. but the London eye scares me.

The London Eye rocks! I've never actually been on it, but I just love walking along there at night, it's so peaceful and it's one of the few places in London where I can actually understand why people get excited about it.

I think maybe Robin's just a bit annoyed at the timing, I get a bit bitchy about scheduling conflicts sometimes.

Hmmm, as bad as it sounds, maybe it's good I didn't see you as you were with the kids. I just don't like children (mass sweeping generalisation), I don't know what it is.

From the onset, I knew that there wouldn't be enough time to see everyone, time and money both being the factors working against it. >_< If it was only me being here on the trip, expenses would be much less and I could probably stay for a month or so and see much more. Ireland and Scotland are places that I really want to see, but those will both probably have to wait until next year because I might be able to make a solo trip of it then.

The London Eye was really awesome even though we had to wait quite a while to get on it. Yesterday was a sunny and clear day, so I wasn't surprised at the large turnout of visitors. I got a lot of pictures and when I get back home I'll post them for here everyone. ^_^ I'm really sorry about the scheduling issues, I guess that the word didn't get passed around very well. Maybe next time I'll have to make an annoucement in The Beehive of what's going to happen (public can't read it there. :P).  The kiddies weren't their best yesterday either, so you're probably right Simmies, that meeting up in London wouldn't have been a good idea. Young children can be veeery selfish and get annoyed quickly where there aren't activities available for them all the time and adult social visits tend to not be very exciting for kids. v_v My son probably would've been okay with it though.
