Yoh is leaving to carry on his quest in the Shaman King tournament in America.  Both him and his fiancée Anna have never admitted what they feel for eachother but with 5 days left is it the right time?

CHAPTER 1

“ Hey Anna!”
Anna walked into the living room and promptly turned on the television with no acknowledgement that Yoh was calling to her.
“ Erm… Anna?”  Yoh called again this time a little more cautiously.
“ Yoh I’ve told you already today you have training to do” her eyes not leaving the TV screen, “ You leave in five days and you must be physically, mentally and emotionally ready for the tournament.”  She knew what she said was true but somehow she couldn’t quite shake off that she only had five precious days left with him.  Precious?  Where had that come from apart from the fact that they were friends in a way and that they were engaged it didn’t mean that he was precious to her, did it?  Yoh on the other hand sighed this was the Anna he knew, from the time after he had beaten Tao Ren and Anna his childhood friend had arrived and started training him.  Boy did she train him hard and if he even tried to slack off she had patrols of ghosts from their home watching him.  Anna was an ikato and had the power to control spirits.  She had learnt most of the skill from Yohs grandmother when she was young.  She had a tough outer shell Yoh had noticed and very rarely shown her true emotions.
“ I was erm… wondering… if you’ll come…um” Yoh stuttered as Anna looked his way.  God she’s so beautiful Yohs mind was racing and his heartbeat quickened.
“ Yoh if there’s something you want to ask me I haven’t got all day you know. “  Anna replied coolly to Yohs stuttered efforts.  Yoh shook his head and pulled himself together.
“ I was wondering if you would like to go out somewhere tonight with me? “  Yoh breathed a sigh of relief but his heart raced with anticipation what if she laughed and said no.  what if?  What if?
“ I suppose I could if you have finished all of your chores and done all of your training. “  Has Asakura Yoh just asked me out?  Anna could feel her cheeks burn and silently willed them to cool down.  Yoh grinned broadly his eyes seemed to dance with joy as he said,
“ I’m right on them” wow he thought Anna and me its so perfect two people, two lovers.  WHAT?  Where had that stray thought come from?  Friends yes but lovers no way.  He exited the room very quickly as to avoid going beetroot in front of her.
Anna watched as Yoh exited and felt a twang of disappointment that he had gone even though it was chores and training.  She thought about the night ahead of them.  The two of them together.  Then a sudden thought hit her what was she going to wear?  Don’t worry about it he’ll think your beautiful whatever you wear whispered a voice in her head.  What do you mean?  She replied silently.  You know what I mean really laughed the voice and then just as suddenly had it appeared it had gone.  Anna shock her head and her bandanna came loose.  Turning of the TV she walked out of the room in a kind of trance to fix her bandanna and see what Yoh was up too.

This looks like it's got potential, methinks.
Do you know what a Beta is, Amy-chan?
Basically you send your chapter/fic to the Beta, and he/she corrects typos and grammar, and also offers some constructive advice to help your story go along. You do that before you post, and your story is usually a lot better, even if you're one of the best writers out there.
I'd like to do that for you Amy-chan, if you dont mind. I'm not a good writer of fanfic, but I'm an avid reader. I dont think I'd be too bad at it. ^__^
