Richard Dawkins
« on: December 02, 2006, 05:18:50 PM »
I continued reading the shiny, glossy, heavy, seductive £20 Waterstones copy of The God Delusion the other day. I myself am a scientific pantheist slowly slipping towards atheism, but religious beliefs aside I hugely respect both Mr Dawkins and his work - he may be rather aggressive (something of an understatement) but atheism needs its pit-bull just as much as religion, which has plenty of talking heads of its own.

Anyway, I was interested in your views not only on the man himself but on his work (two opinions that, if held, should be kept separate but rarely are). If you're unfamiliar with the Ricky D I shall lazily direct you to his wiki page :D  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Dawkins
