The intent of this forum section is to provide a place for serious discussions of issues and current events. When reading in here, a person should feel like they are reading a newspaper or textbook and not manga or comics like the rest of the forum.
So in addition to the regular Forum Rules (http://www.henheart.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=3.0) the following also apply:
1. No flaming or personal attacks. Posts will be deleted or threads moved to The Beehive.
2. No swearing or profanity. Any intelligent person knows these things are unnecessary anyways.
3. No rants. Overly emotional expressions of displeasure will be moved to The Beehive. However, if a topic consisting of some kind of complaint (example: "It's so hard to find a job!") that is not overly emotional and expressed logically without profanity, may be allowed to stay for discussion.
4. No one word or off the cuff replies to posts. There won't be a minimum post length requirement (yet) but a reply must consist of -
A. A clearly expressed response to the previous post
B. A reasoning or train of logic to back up your response, something to convince others that you are correct.
5. No spontaneous or random roleplying. We do this a lot everywheres else on the forum, but it's not allowed here. If you need to act out a scenario to prove a point, that is permitted.
6. Do not use emoticons. Board smilies and text emoticons like ^_^ O.o;; >.<, etc are not permitted.
7. Use spell check if necessary. Misspelled words will undermine your credibility.
8. Properly reference all quotes. Whether you are quoting member's posts or outside sources, reference where you pulled them from so that the reader can go back and derive the proper context of the quoted message.

I have an idea:
Your reply doesn't need to be like a novel an colloassal in length as long post doesn't equal good post, but no one liners or even one worders. Your post must be relevant to the topic and add something to the discussion.
Edit: nevermind, I misread the rules and that was basically already on there
