Zasu is an interesting character, he's a technical guy, but is also friendly and helpful. In the anime he develops a big crush on Hikaru - it's soo cute and innocent. ^_^ He was a helpful person at a time when she really needed it. Because he's so short like Hikaru, I thought that they looked good together as a couple, whereas Lantis and Eagle tower over her.

Normally I try to avoid capturing the subtitles, but that second one I just could not resisit! ^_^;; The forth one with the two of them in the doorway could almost be a wedding photo. ^_^ And the Autozam outfit Hikaru is wearing is really cute! She doesn't actually go to Autozam in the anime, but Hikaru does spend some time on the NSX, the ship that Eagle commands.

Horrors of handwriting? Unless you write in kanji, I could probably still read it anyways. ^_^ However, something happened to me I've noticed. In the years before I had a pc, my handwriting used to be excellent, but now that I make so many documents on pc's now, I've gotten out of practice. My handwriting is pretty shabby now, embarrassing actually. ^_^;;;

So, i quit writing and began printing again. Eveyone say's my printing look's like a computer's typing, so I guess it's neat =) hehe

Actually, I think people who type as part of their profession would wince if they saw how I type. I never learned the correct way either. The only reason I'm a fast typer is because I was made to type up a ton of things by my mom because she was too busy to do them herself. So I probably do it all wrong.

the "proper" way to type is so confusing =P I think it would take me more time for my fingers to go on the homerow than to actually type whatever it is I am typing. *looks at keyboard* Why must be be so confusing??? I hate you!

P.S. I agree with both of you, CLAMP's artwork is extremely beautiful and well-done in my opinion. I think it's like a piece of artwork per page (except when the characters make funny faces).

Oh, I didn't mean to say I didn't like the funny faces, quite the opposite. I think the funny faces really help me to see the action in the story better. Like when Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu were falling out of the sky. I loved how CLAMP depicted them. I also love how Hikaru often gets cat ears and a tail. It's soooooo adorable!

I'll just jump into this. I agree with you Mel-chan. The chibi face expresions help me to see the action in the story too. They can also show a characters emotions well. Like when Hikaru, Umi and Fuu went to the spring of ______. (was it eterna?) Well.. when they first saw the spring... the looks on their chibi faces said more than words could =P

Indeed, that's what it's all about, using pictures to express emotions. CLAMP does such a great job of it in general. ^_^ The chibi faces really let you know that something unusual is going on, so one emotion or another is getting out of control, like in the mallet scene. :P BTW, I love Kitty Hikaru too! ^_^;;

Hikaru with ears reminded me of Nokoru from CLAMP School. It was only once, but they gave him the ears and it made me *so happy* ^^;;

I never really did understand the purpose of the kitty ears... what exactly are they there for?

I've never been too sure exactly what it means when a character gets the kitty ears and tail. It happened to Hikaru when she got caught in Presea's cage and then saw Presea do a series of silly things with Mokona. I would guess that it means extreme embarassment, to the point of being speechless, in that case. I've also seen a character get them when they become really excited about something, like Ichigo in Tokyo Mew Mew. Then she becomes extremely embarassed after she gets the kitty ears and tail. ^_^;;

It's just sooo confusing ^^;; Wasn't it in the first episode of Magic Knight Rayearth when Hikaru thought it would be a good idea to do introductions, she got the kitty ears? It must be excitment and well as embarassment.

In CLAMP School, Nokoru-kun looked stunned when he had the ears.. *looks confused and shrugs* Oh well... they're cute =P hehe

When Ichigo gets the kitty ears, they're not a visual effect, they're real and everyone else can see them too. ^_^;; They come out often when her boyfriend is being nice and showing her a lot of attention, but she doesn't ever want him to know that she's part feline. So when it does happen she becomes horribly embarassed and does everything she can to hide them from him. It's hilarious to watch. ^_^



Nokoru is definitely unique though, I don't think I've ever seen a male character get the kitty ears. CCD is starting to sound like an interesting show, maybe I should get that one next?

You would probably like CLAMP School... but I'm not sure. There really isn't a plot to it at all.. only the last 6 to 8 episodes have an actual vilian and such. I still love it because it is extremly adorbale =D hehe

That's true until about episode 21 (?) when Yuuto was fighting Karen and Aoki. I think that was probably the only time she showed emotion. She wanted to help Yuuto fight, but beast restricted her. I felt really sorry for her.

Aren't computers a little like that IRL? The time we spend online or playing games takes us away from those that are close to us IRL.
