I like how she's always going on about her 'Punishment' scenario! It's so funny!

I've always liked how Presea and Hikaru developed such a special relationship between each other. This comes out better in the MKR anime though I think. The two of them actually have very similar personalities and seem to understand each other very well. They almost seem like a mother and daughter which is something that Hikaru probably desired very much because she no longer had either of her parents.

I'd say the manga shows more of that bonding for me, personally. I first read your post before I read the manga, and I was like,"oh, really?" Maybe it's cause of the whole 'Presea dying and good ol' Sierra taking her place' thing, but I don't know, I should re-watch the anime yet again.

But I do agree with the fact that they have a mother-daughter sort of relationship. For me, I think Hikaru can go two ways with her personality when she grows up. One way would be to have a personality close to Presea's, and the other would be to have a more gentle, quiet nature, a good motherly character that gently chides her children on(but I guess Presea has some of that too, a human's personality is really complicated). I guess we'll never know in the end, unless CLAMP comes up with some sort of epilogue after a decade of finishing the series. ^^'
