Hey, everyone. I'm really excited that I finally found an MKR forum, 'cause I've been looking for one for about two to three days now (ever since I finished reading the MKR books for the third time). The first time I read the books, I loved them. They were sooo cool, and since I'm attracted to nearly anything Japanese, it only made me like 'em more. I, myself, have been working on learning how to draw the Japanese Manga style. I think it's really cool. Anyhoo, I'm hoping to see the movies soon, 'cause I hear their pretty cool. Um, I'm not sure what else I can say, since I'm new, and not entirely sure how things work yet, but I'll b sure to check up on the boards, and post and stuff. cool.gif But for now, I gotta skidaddle, 'cause my time on the internet is almost up. (I'm at the Library atm) Well, that's my introduction. biggrin.gif
Shiidou Hikaru
Hi Presia-san, welcome to the MKR forum! *Huggles* I'm Hikaru-chan, or Hikaru-san, or Shii-chan, or Karu-chan, or .... well people call me lots of things. XD It's really cool that you've enjoyed the manga so much, I liked it very much myself when I first read it too. Hopefully you'll get to see the anime sometime soon. It's a little different from the manga, but I loved it anyways. happy.gif

Ooooh, before I forget ...

*Dumps big pile of cupcakes, donuts, cookies, and other assorted goodies (mostly chocolate ... Shii-chan loves chocolate! XD) on Presia-san.*

Wheeeeeeeeee!! Now you're officially a member of the MKR forum! Hopefully everyone else will be along soon to welcome you. Things have been slow here lately, but will pick up again and it's always great to have new friends join us. If there are any questions about how things work on the forum, please ask me and I'll try to help you out the best that I can. happy.gif

nyaaa, hi hi!~ Welcome to the forum! I hope you have lots of fun here posting with us. Hope to see you around sometime soon <3
Yuki Fukurou
Konnichiwa soshite youkosou. Watashi wa Yuki Fukurou. Dozo Yoroshiku, Presia-chan. happy.gif. (Ok...enough w/the formalities).

*clears throat*.

Welcome to the MKR forum. My name is Yuki Fukurou. I'm just usually referred to as Yuki-san. Hope you enjoy your stay here.

There's an OAV for MKR, though I'm not exactly sure where they sell it nowadays.

Almost forgot to mention, I don't speak the Japanese language fluently. Just know some words/phrases/short sentences.
Seraph
Welcome, presia-chan. I'm Seraph, a new((ish...)) member of the forums, but as you can see, the welcomes are warm and don't wear out easily ((which is proven by my continued membership. tongue.gif)) anyway, hope you enjoy your stay happy.gif
Presea
Thanks for all the kind welcomes, everyone (and also for the helpful info. cool.gif )--and all the goodies tongue.gif . I can't believe I actually spelled my name wrong, though (Presia = Presea)! I just forgot to look at the actual spelling from the book before I registered, and I was using common English spelling instead of Cephiro's. laugh.gif Only probelm is, now I don't know how to fix it! mellow.gif
Shiidou Hikaru
*Huggles* It's okay if you didn't get Presea's name spelled correctly, it gives the name some individuality. happy.gif I can change it to "Presea" if you want me to, but you'll have to use the new name to login next time. Please let me know if you want me to change it.
Presea
That would be cool. cool.gif I think I would much rather prefer to have my name spelled correctly. Thanks, Hikaru-san. biggrin.gif
Shiidou Hikaru
Okay, all fixed Presea-san, just remember to login with Presea next time. happy.gif
q3m
Fortunately, I spelt my name right. It would kinda suck if I accidently hit a the nuber pad or someth..............

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Sorry, i'm a lil' drunk ATM. XD
Shiidou Hikaru
Eh-heh ... happy.gif;;

Alcohol and online forums don't always go well together.
Presea
Well, it took a while, but I finally found the most perfect avatar just for me. biggrin.gif D'ya like it? eh?
yuzuki chan17
hehehe, Presea using a Presea avatar? Who would have guessed? ohmy.gif *pokes* Only teasing ^^ Ti's a pretty avatar! <3 CLAMP's artwork, as usual.
q3m
Yes, "Image Leech" avatar is cool.
Presea
Huh, all of the sudden it says "Image Leech" instead of the actual avatar! unsure.gif Weeeeiiird. Hmmm... I'll have to see if I can fix that.....
Shiidou Hikaru
Hehe, most sites don't allow hotlinking to images and put a little script in there just in case someone tries to anyways. XD I like the one that you have now, it's very peaceful looking. happy.gif;; You can upload an avatar image from your pc if you have one that you would rather use.
Docs Fox
Nyaa~just saw this topic right now. XD; Welcome to the forum! ^-^ I'ma little odd sometimes but that makes me fun. =P Enjoy your time here.
CE Yume
Gah, only came by now so here's a late welcome. ^^; Nice to have another member here (more active than me ^^;; ), hope you enjoy your stay!! biggrin.gif
Shirotatsu
...ehee...this is super late welcome! *falls*

My name's Shirotatsu, I think...x.x...it's been a while since I've logged in and really used the board...for all I know I could be logged in as Kurotatsu...(I'm just kidding, of course I can see who I'm logged in as, but, uh...yeah...too many accounts! XD)

Ahem, right, Shirotatsu...you're welcome to call me Shiro...I'm the board's local foreign language geek (even working on my own language!), so don't be surprised if posts contain random bits of another language, or if my signature has a new language every once in a while...^^;

Nice to have another user here at the board, have fun, and welcome.
Presea
Thx, Shiro. biggrin.gif I like learning foreign languages, too. It can be really fun. cool.gif I wanna learn Japanese, maybe, but it looks kinda hard... do you know Japanese? Is it hard to learn?
Yuki Fukurou
Me & Shiro know a little bit. Well...he does more than me. The language can be a bit tricky first, since you have to try & understand the writing before the actual reading. Me...I have a sort of odd way of learning it. Putting the words first in the romaji (romanized version) & then the actual writing. They're both the same, however, I still have to learn the rest of it.
Presea
I looked at some Japanese stuff online one time (it was sort of a quicky on the basics of Japanese), but it looked so complicated! lol! I was looking at it when the thought of learning Japanese was just a thought--in other words, I might learn it, and I might not. So when I saw all that complicated stuff, it sorta blew me away. laugh.gif But now I'm reeeeally wanting to learn it, so I may go back to that site, or check out some books from the Library or something and see if I can't get it down. I learned a bit of Hebrew this one time (which was fun), and Mom said that I learn languages fast, so, I may give it a spin. biggrin.gif
Shirotatsu
...oh...can you read the Alephbeth with all the vowels and stuff...?

Actually, I believe learning Japanese script (excluding Kanji) is easier than reading Hebrew...so do give it a try! Myself, I know the script better than the language, since I put reading before speaking (that's highly discouraged though). Either way, good luck with your studies!
Shiidou Hikaru
At one time I looked into studying Japanese too and checked out the courses at my old university. They have a three year/six semester program which seems decent but costs somewheres between $400-$500 per credit hour. >_< So I decided not to do it based on the time and financial committment. If you're still in high school, now is the time to learn it Presea-san, you'll save a whole lot of time and money over waiting and doing it later.
Presea
thanks for the advice. biggrin.gif I'm definitely going to have to check out some Japanese-learning material. biggrin.gif Besides, there's a few Japanese songs at the end of this one video game I own that I've been hoping to "decipher" lol!
