To answer your questions Docs-san...I got some money from some of my mom's friends & one of her sisters ($590 in total). Heh...can you actually believe someone like me getting that much? Kinda surprisingly odd though. *laughs*.



Besides that...I'm just going to put that into my savings account sometime later next year. (I changed banks already & with this one...I'm just going to have to sit it out & wait till I can make a deposit. (It's one of the terms that I agreed to when I made a new account at a different bank).



As for the other stuff...got 2 movies on DVD. An anime movie (Ghost in the Shell) & the extended ver. of LOTR: Return of the King. (Got the LOTR DVD from Shiro-kun).

Now that I have the chance to ask, anything special you did?

Hai.

My parents brought me over to San Diego on the 27th to check out this museum. It was actually aboard an aircraft carrier that was used during WWII, which was called the USS Midway. Then on my birthday, we went out to eat at Kabuki restaurant in Cerritos and I managed to get myself a video game that's a few years old and the movie RENT (which...even though I've watched...I still love it.)

A birthday thread reused a second time! XD I'm sorry for being late, but happy birthday Yuki-san! I sort of admire everyone's efficiency on reusing the birthday thread, but somehow I feel that Yuki-san is getting shortchanged somehow? I dunno, maybe I'm just being weird again, lol ;;

Why? Is something wrong with that?

Shortchanged, that is, to be cheated out of something, in this case, a new topic. It seems to be so because we could always just create a new birthday topic for you every 28th of August.

No one suggested that anything wrong with reusing a topic. There's nothing wrong with doing so. These are simply observations. Hikaru-san observes that you reused it twice, and Batou-san sees that something seems wrong with what Hikaru-san said and states that it was reused three times.

But, actually, Hikaru-san has it right. Yuki-san posted his birthday (2005), then reused it twice (2006, 2007) to make a total of three uses.

O.o;;

Oh dear ... maybe I should close this one before anyone else has a ... uhh, flying accident? And that would also ensure that Yuki-san gets a brand new birthday topic next year. Well I guess that's why I think everyone should a new thread every year - a birthday is the start of a new year of our life and should be approached in that manner. Reusing an old birthday thread is like taking a present that I got for my birthday last year, wrapping it up, and giving it to me again this year. ;;

I know, I'm kinda goofy about things like that ... mee sorries ...
