hmmm, sounds good. I'll give my opinion on 1asphost then. I think that it is sometimes a really good host because it allows you to store a lot of pictures (file size wise). It also allows you to upload 5 pictures at once.. which makes for a faster experience.



The downside to 1asphost is it screws up regularly. At times, your pictures will become red x's... and it takes a while for them to go back to normal (yesterday for me, it took over 6 hours for my signature picture to return to normal =/ ) Also, at one point they did stop allowing hotlinking... and I have a fear that they might try it again.



Final opinion... I?m still using it to hold most of my pictures.. so I would recommend it. However, you might want a back-up account on another image host site just incase ^_~

I really like using photobucket.

I'm in the same boat as legend, for several reasons. One, Photobucket has yet to 404 me or give me a bandwidth exceeded message. Two, hotlinking, image BBS tags, and image HTML, all in a copy-and-paste format. Not so important to some, but seeing as I use it to host avatars as well as pictures for my website ((link in profile and soon to be in sig)) it;s a biggie for me.

Um... would somebody please explain what this place is for??

This thread is a place for members to post links to free image hosting services. Lots of us like to use images for signatures and avatars, so a place is needed on the web to host them. That's how we are able to link to them and show images in our signatures. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to pay for web hosting, and many free services do not allow hotlinking. There are a few that do and they're listed up above.
