Hey guys...here's another poem I just wrote yesterday:



One Shot:



We all have our ups & downs in life,

Our small problems & big ones.



Sometimes, when a big disaster strikes, we feel a sense of powerlessness

And we can only do so much.



Yet there are times that we miss the bigger picture,

That there are a lot more unfortunate people out there in the world.



Some are willing to pitch in, others are not,

Some show concern, yet there are few that take it seriously



As the saying goes, ?You only live once?,

So instead of seeing someone poor & ignoring them,

Let us try & reach out to help any way we can



For even the smallest person in the world can change the course of the future.



We only get one shot in life.



Let us make it count.

There's certainly a lot of wisdom in there Yuki-san. I can think of incidents in the past where I didn't take any action and maybe regret it a little. How the future might have been changed or made different I'll never know ...

Thanks, Hikaru-san. Of course...I remember having to read one during my homeroom review period for my qtr. exams. My classmates literally coaxed me into reading it.

It's not an easy thing to present some of our original work to a general public audience. So much of their comments are interpreted to be personal criticism which can be very hurtful if negative. However, it can be very inspiring if positive and the risk is usually worth it to take. ^_^
