I set one up for everyone to look at and play around with to see if we like it or not. Right now there isn't any plan to move, but it's something to think about for the future.
Heh...it seems that most moderators at ezboard are probably making a back-up on invision. This one I'm definitely planning on heading to sometime soon (if there's another attack).
I might even add the stuff from my RPG to there (this time, I will NOT lose it). As soon as I can cont. my RPG, at a certain point, I'll copy it & save it on Microsoft Word & then repost it at the invision prototype.

One thing that I would like everyone to do at the prototype forum is to make an account and make sure that they can post there. One thing that I am afraid of is that if Ezboard dies because of this and everything goes offline, we would all lose contact with each other without a place to meet at. The prototype forum would act as a lifeboat if the big ship goes down ...
Yes, the Invision forum layout can be customized, however it is considerably more difficult than modifying the Ezboard layout. So I hadn't planned on doing customization unless we go ahead with the move. Premade theme skins are available which would help a lot if I can find something that looks close to what I'd like. Another feature of the Invision forum is that it allows individual users to pick their own theme skin to use when logged in.
Somehow the link to the zombie emoticon got buggered up and was showing this giant Hoosier football image instead. I had to remove it, sorries ...
I've had a first success at completing a conversion to Invision Power Board - General Discussion
It only shows topics from the last 30 days, so to see them all, go down to the bottom and change the filter to show all topics. There are duplicates because the conversion was run twice. So there is hope that we will be able to leave Ezboard soon. I still need to purchase a license from IPB to be able to run the full scale conversion, so money is the issue now.
Hmm. There's a big white... thing in-between the text and sig in each post.

Yay, Hikaru-chan! ^^ Hm...but what Casey-san says is true. ^^; There's a white...block above and below the signature. Hm...Hikaru-chan, your signature is also a bit weird. ^^;
I've found that the white bars are cause by the html comments that tell when ezcodes are being used. Most signatures have them so I think that's why they show up in the posts. When I do the actual conversion, I'll do it without the signatures and everyone will need to set them up on their profiles.
To answer Kyuu's question, no registration will be required. Accounts will be created during the conversion, but I will have to e-mail a password to everyone so that you will be able to log in.
