It does seem like the future to me as well Emiko-chan. There was a science fiction film called "2010" (sequel to "2001, A Space Odyssey") made a number of years ago so I sort of associate this year with the movie. Since sci-fi is almost always about the future, I guess we're in a future year now. Somehow I just think I made a time paradox ... eek! O.o;; Another one will come up in 2015 when we get to the part of "Back to the Future" where they had flying cars and skateboards. Somehow I don't think those are going to come to pass

My New Years Eve wasn't anything special, we just stayed up to watch the ball drop on TV. It's always to cold where I live to go and watch the fireworks. The resolution thingy is something that I've never really done so I'm bad and didn't make one this year either. v_v I guess I just generally try to improve the relationships I have with people and try to do better than last year. I'm not sure if I succeed very often though.

And I still say "two thousand ten" which I believe is correct mathematical nomenclature for the number 2010. Although popular culture does put a different spin on the naming of years. "1978" would be "one thousand, nine hundred, seventy-eight" in strict nomenclature rather than the more common "nineteen seventy-eight".
