After much thinking, I finally decided to make this. I like the idea of a journal, considering I've never had one, but I think I'll get the hang of it soon happy.gif.

--

Well, Today was, of course, school (yay for the weekend). But it was pretty easy today, due to the fact we had had are first GCSE ("General Certificate of Secondary Education"), luckily though, It was Science and the topics were Bioligy and Physics, which I like and am quite good at. Usually, I think my grade average is at least a D ?_?. But the exam's were quite easy for me, mainly because I did the Higher Tier Exam and not the Foundation Tier, but I'm hoping to get a C at least (I can just retake it if not happy.gif As I certainly don't want a U).
But, even cause of our exams, we still weren't let of for long, as now were starting our Chemistry Coursework, but our teacher is giving it us in pieces, which is good.

I also had English today, and also MORE Coursework, but I like this one abit more, as its more intresting. Were doing Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" for our exam this year (last year for our SATs, we did Shakespeare's "The Tempest".) And I find this story quite intresting in a way. We now watched 3 different versions on TV (A cartoon version, olden times version and a modern version), and read to versions (Script and Manga version (yes, Manga)). Though we only pay attension to Act 1 Scene 3, were Mercutio and Tybalt dies, so we don't really get all lesson off. But I dont think my English Coursework exam we have such a good result, considering I missed the speaking and listening exam, which is more important than the other exams, but that was only because I had a interview for Work Experience.

I also got my next recipe for Food EC. (Were making Lemon Merigue (sp?)), though I have a feeling that It'll explode O.o. (we havent started that coursework yet).

Were also starting are French CourseWork. We've already done one though, We had to write about a famous person and tell about them (though it didn't have to be true). I choose Rumiko Takahashi, mainly because she was the first name that came to mind, but all I knew about her is that she's about over 50 and is a famous manga writer (well, thats all i could remember), so i made up the rest *sweatdrop*.
Though French isn't much of a qualifacation for what I wish to go for when I'm older, but It may help ^^.

-

Now, lets forget school....

Awhile ago I had a arguement, about the most stupidest thing, with my brother. We were argueing whether or not Coke would blow up if you blow Carbon dioxide into it, he said it would, but I'm sure its Carbonated Soda that does that or something O.o
I also had another arguement with my friend Saku-chan - about Romeo's and Juliets age, but lets not get into that.

For awhile, I've been very obsessed with a DS game named "Trauma Center - Under the Knife" (see siggy), I borrowed it from Chi-chan while I lent her Dragon Knights Vol. 3 + 4. And I got really into it, especially since I had gotten passed this part I couldn't ages ago and got passed the guy who owned it before Chi-chan. But, I did the most STUPIDEST thing ever, I have finally got passed saving Angie's dad and getting near the end, then I thought I'd do some praticeing a start a new game in a different save space, and what do I do, because of my shakey hands, I accidently save over my save with the new one by accident. All that for nothing! ?_?. But Its not even my game, so I guess it practise for when i get a DS and the game for Christmas.

Also, I've been reading alot more of Detective Conan and watching the movies (current at Volume 36 and Movie 5), but I'm trying to get more revision in, so I don't get alot of time to read/watch more.

What i'm doing now?
Well, the song on my Anime fourm is playing up BIG time, so i think i might change that.
I'm also on Gaia and Bebo, sorting out my profiles.
Listening to music on Imeem.
And, Listening to Kagura-chan and John-kun fight ?_? (they've always fighting them two ?_?)
And thats it for today.

Hahaha I know. Though, it wasn't anything too big. Just in my essay she has a mum, dad, sister and a best friend - all named after Kingdom Hearts 2 characters. XD

Yep happy.gif It was really fun though, every time i read it, I couldn't help smileing like a goof. I had one person asking "Why are you smiling like that". Even Chi-chan and Saku-chan found it funnily stupid.
But I got away with it ^^, anime isn't the most popular thing in England (unless you count anim? which is french for "lively"). But I don't think Hennigan-sensei will mind XD (its not gonna be a world wide biography luckily XD)

*sigh* So much for weekend sleep.gif I hate Mondays...
I had all my main lessons today (English, Maths and Science) and the were sooooo boring (especially Maths), though we did watch more of Romeo and Juliet today ^^
The only good lessons today were Art and Media Studies, were doing Cubism in art and Making trailers in Media, so it wasn't so bad.

On saturday, everyone went out, apart from me, so I was left alone all day till about 5.00pm so it was really boring ?_? I had been on the comp and DS so there wasn't much left to do (and i'm not very good at PS2 fighting games), and I didn't know any of my friends number who weren't out *sigh*).
But on the good side, my sister came back for the weekend, so we went to a restruant. And it was really fun walking back as me and my sister were dancing like seaweed XD. When we got back, we watched Pirates of the Carribean (sp?): At Worlds End, but we all fell asleep XD.
Sundays was quite fun too; me, my 2 sisters and brother went to Town. We didn't buy much, but my older sis did get her third tatoo on wrist (quite nice too), but nothing much.

Hmm.... nothing much intresting now.
But a good news for me, my third piercing on my ear (I have 3 on each ear) has finally stopped hurting (it was really painful when we had to change the small stud for a hoop), so i'm happy about that).
And I've been getting back into drawing lately, currently working on a Under the Knife Fanart ^^

QUOTE(Batou @ Nov 26 2007, 03:46 PM) *

I can show you how to use math in extremely effective and interesting forms, if you want. If you aren't up to algebra level yet though, I'd have to give you the crash course in that.

They spend too much time on theory/developing rote understanding without true appreciation of the concepts, instead of utility don't they? No one ever goes: Today we're going to show you weighted averages and how you can use them to find the centroid of a combinations of simple shapes, so as to find the center of rotation. I can't say they really covered anything involving setting up one's own mathematical relations until Differential Equations.

Yes I would like that very much. I think it would abit more easier to learn from someone more logical and understandable.
Our current teacher, Dewhurst-sensei, doesn't seem to be intrested in his job, each lesson we have starter questions, always the same each lesson but with different numbers placed in the question and its never explained proporly (I mean, I'm only 14, what does he expected us to be like?). The same for the main questions, quick explaining, then do loads of questions from a text book *sigh* And of course, he expects us to learn everything about Pythagoras in a lesson. (On a quick different note for Batou-senpai, yes We have done algebra, and do like it more than the others anyway, probably not learnt everything about it, but have started/done last years learning of it).
A more annoying thing is that Dewhurst-sensei has left for a Tai-boxing championship for 10 days, leaving us with a teacher named Keough-sensei (said "Kyo"), and he seems like a younger school teacher. Switching from are last subject Reciprocals to Going back to Finding a Prime Factor; we usually don't learn much because he spends so much time going over and over on the starter questions.
So any help would be great, I'm aiming for a high grade in my GCSE's to get me into a good college (or into a college at least) and go on to Med School and become a Doctor Assistant/Nurse (you need good grades for that I think, so I'm going to try.)

-

On a more postitive note of school, Science did get abit more intresting, considering I only have one teacher to go to untill we finish our coursework. But on the strange side, I really enjoyed Science O.o
We're currently doing Emulsion, and its especially great when I'm working with two of my friends (a sad note is that they hate each other, but I'm happy they put that aside when I asked ^^). We're trying to figure out how long it takes water and oil to separate when egg is added to the mixture. Its actually pretty easy in a strange way O.o

Other lessons we had today were ICT, Art and French (excluding Maths and Science), each were pretty good, but nothing to report ^^;;

A better thing today was lunch, nope not what I had eaten but the fact that the radio we have playing ourside had loads of dancing songs on, so I sorta made a fool of myself dancing to "Cha-cha slide", "Macaraina" and the "Pizza Hut Song" and others XD (I'm a bit of a kid and I love dancing).

Hmmm... nothing much more now.
But I'm currently eating Lemon Serberts my brother bought back for me and reading Alice 19th online.
I don't really do much intresting after school (I usually sleep due to a Sleeping Disorder that I have).
Another good note is that I finally got back up to me place on UtK XD

My apoilgies Batou-sensei, I'm alittle busy, I'm supposed to finish my English Coursework, but I thought i'd quickly write in my journal. Unfortuantly, I'm extremly tired and am afraid I can't read through what you've spent (by the looks of it) so much time on at the moment. But I will get onto it ^^
My Apoiligies sad.gif

-

On other news.
I have some great news (well, for me ^^).
*ehem* Awhile ago, I had my first ISA exam for Science, unfortuantly, I got a D, i was quite dissapointed (my parent may not mind but i did *sigh*). Then, 2 days ago, we had are second ISA exam, and I was so happy, I recieved a B+ smile.gif I've never gotten anything more than a C appart from in art O.o. So I'm very proud of that happy.gif

Thats about all in school O.o (gotta be quick)

In GRAND news, during my next 7 weeks holiday after Year 10, I'm allowed to go JAPAN with Onee-chan XO (I just gotta save more than half myself plus spending money XD). But i also gotta improve my grades to ^^;

In manga terms...
I've started and in Love with a new manga called Pita Ten (can you tell XD). I'm trying to get Chi-chan and Saku-chan into it XD Kinda hard but i shall provile XD But i've only read one volume (but nearly finished the anime on Youtube).

-

Well that it, i must say good bye before i get in trouble ^^; (woah I feel dizzy O.o)

(Must be quick, gotta get ready for New Years).

Wow been a while since I've been on O.o Oh well, time for a update ^^
-
Well, to get it out of the way, I said in the last post "I feel dizzy". Well, it actually got a little worse for a while. My concentration failed me and all most collasped while walking at school, I had a check up and turned out I had a low consumption on iron in my blood, and we had run out of iron vitamins, but I had a long relax during the weekend and feel alot better happy.gif.

Christmas has just been now sad.gif *sigh* But it was good ^^ I didn't get much anime/manga stuff, but I didn't last year either (apart from 1 manga from Chi-chan), so I'm not bothered. But I did get a Detective Conan Notebook off Chi-chan and 2 Makona (MKR) Bags happy.gif Everything else was either make-up/nail stuff, Art Stuff and some others.

In manga term, I've started a Manga called Spiral : Bonds of Reason, Onee-chan lent it me and now I'm hooked completely.
I'm also in love with two game: Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney.

happy.gifv

Don't apoligise. My fault for disagreeing to eat much during that period of time.
I've gotten alot better though, we had another trip to the doctors and sorted it out.

-

Anyway...
I don't have much to say due to the fact... well, I'm tired ^^; (such a pathetic reason for me but oh well).
We, I went to China Town awhile ago, just randomly, I bought volume 11 of Dragon Knights, and strangely enough, I bought all the Cardcaptor Sakura Volumes in Chinese O.o. How strange of me.
Oh, and Chi-chan directed me to a shop called "Narcade" which sell loads of anime/manga things. I was tempted so badly to buy this Detective Conan bag and a pack of Full Moon Wo Sagishite Cards... But I didn't *sigh*.....
Lastly, Tonight I'm watching a anime called "She, The Ultimate Weapon" the whole series. My sister bought it, so we thought we'd watch it tonight.

Saikano? I watched that, I was bawling my eyes out in that one. ;_; It really hit me hard for some reason, I've never cried that much for an anime series before.

Eheheh, necroposting, aren't I?

Well, I'm coming to the end of are half term.
The beginning of the week was extremly fun... while the end has been extremely boring... mainly to the fact that Mum, Dad and Amy-neechan were at were at work and Kagura-chan was at Austria on a Ski Trip. So it was me and John-kun at home.

For the good part of the week, I went to Blackpool for a whole day with my friends Tanya-chan and Georgina-chan:
IPB Image IPB Image
IPB Image IPB Image

I loved that day to death, but I also freezed to death too - I went on a ride called "Valhaaler", and its a water ride. I was going to get a rain mac because I was wearin some quite light clothes that day and didn't really want to get wet because it was also quite cold. They said not to waste any money on a rain mac and also that you did get very wet any way. I agreed and went on the ride. I came off.....
I WAS ABSOLUTELY SOAKING!
Not very wet my butt ?_? We went through 3 waterfalls, 3 slides - one forwards and two backwards and got sprayed by loads of water almost every 3 minutes.
And all i was wearing (as seen in picture 2) was a light strapless dress, and light waist-jacket and a pair of leggings... So its pretty easy to imagen how cold i was when i got off (I wasn't even aloud in the dryer later). And the fact we went on loads of fast rides after didn't help either...

-

Anyway, after this lovely tome, the next day (in order of pic below) - Becky-chan, Terri-chan, Shannon-chan, Shelly-chan, Bronwen-chan and me (And Thurston-kun too, but he can't be seen because he took to picture), all went bowling for the day. Now, none of us are all to good at bowling, but we love hanging out together. We did bowling, but we also danced to the music they played (we looked foolish but boy was it fun ^^).
IPB Image

We were out till about 7.00pm until going out around my street for abit (and i admit there was alcohol, but we didn't drink any O.o Well I didn't and neither did Bronwen-chan). Actually, speaking of which, this is quite a humourous story...
On that same night, we went to the Service Station near McDonalds. Now, Shannon-chan, Nicky-chan and Gemma-chan were alll... quite.... no, really drunk that night. And yet again, Me and Bronwen-chan were not *sigh* (we have no care for alcohol, and we were going to the Gym the next day and didn't want to be hung over).
Well anyway, while we were there, things got a little at of control after a while. Mainly because after, Shannon-chan, Nicky-chan and Gemma-chan started pole-danceing around lamp-posts... O.o The most embarrashing thing I had to been with.
Anyway, the Security Guard noticed this and had to take them away, though it was a hard job, he got them away eventually and now there banned for life (well, until further notice (luckily, Me and Bronwen-chan were not because we were trying to control them and not get run over (we were in the carpark)).

-

Well, I guess that is it.
When I return to School, I have my second Science GSCE (worth 25% of my final grade). I definetly intend to get above a B this time as I can only redo 1 of my exams and thats it (and I've already fail one and I want to redo that one).
Then on March 9th, Its my birthday happy.gif I'm getting Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (sequel to Phoenix Wright) on DS, A Spiral Manga wallscroll, Complete set of Ouran High School Host Club anime and 3 DVD's of the Spiral anime happy.gif

-

At the moment, All of us (apart from mum and dad), are watching Peter Pan O.o (well, I'm on the computer ofcourse). And tomorrow, I'm going to the Gym with Bronwen-chan biggrin.gif

Teeheehee, all of that reminds me so much of the things that I used to do when I was in high school, even the drinking part. happy.gif;; Yupperz, I used to do some pretty stupid things too, but I wasn't ever taken away by the cops though. One time I somehow managed to fall over a cable and hit the back of my head on the road but because I was so drunk I didn't even feel it. happy.gif;; A little bit later after that I was playing with my hair and my fingers came out all red with blood ... that's how bad I'd hurt myself ... it was really stupid. T_T

I also love to go tenpin bowling and used to be pretty good at it until just a few years ago. Now I don't play in a league anymore and got out of practice, but that's okay because I still like to play anyways. happy.gif The amusement park looks like a lot of fun too, but I wouldn't go on a water ride like the one you described Tomoyo-chan. I really, really dislike getting wet and if I got soaked on a ride like you did, I probably would've went home crying immediately afterwards, even if it wasn't a very cold day. Next time you'll have to bring a change of clothes with you and change in the restroom after getting soaked. happy.gif;;
