This is an adorable anime show that my friend Teme-chan told me about. I wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but now that I've seen more episodes I've grown to like it quite a bit.
 The original premise is actually rather flakey which was one of the resaons for being unsure at first. The main character, Hazumu, starts out as a somewhat confused teenage boy whose personality has many feminine traits. I'm don't know if I'd characterize him as TG, but then again I'm not a shrink either. He's well liked by his friends, but seems uncomfortable in his role as a male, especially when he gets a lot of pressure from his hentai father. Then one night a highly unlikely event occurs. An alien spacecraft sent to observe Earth accidentally crashes and Hazumu dies ( ... I think ... it was an odd event). Apparently regretful over this, the aliens use their technology to regenerate Hazumu's body for him. However, they make one serious blunder - the new body they make for Hazumu is female. How an alien race with medical technology advanced enough to regenerate a human body couldn't figure out what the correct gender needed to be is beyond me ... well I didn't write it. ;; Hazumu seems to adapt well enough to his *cough* her new life and things go on from there. Unlike Ranma 1/2 and Tenshi na Konamaiki, the fact of the switcheroo doesn't seem to be the central focus of the plot. Instead Hazumu's relationships with her two best friends Yasuna-chan and Tomari-chan are what the story is all about. In fact it's easy to forget that Hazumu was switched at all and Yasuna x Hazumu becomes the cutest yuri couple since Tomoyo and Sakura. XDIf Docs-san is out there some place, you ought to see this show, you'll love it methinks. --------------------  |

Know i've definetly heard of Kashimashi, but i never remebered the name  I've heard of it but i didn't realy like it much (probably because i only watched abit) But i guess Shojo-ai books are okay ????? Sayonara Tomoyo-san xx --------------------  |

I know how much you like shoujo-ai and cute anime shows and Kashimashi has lots of both. Hm... I guess your right Hikaru-chan, Shojo-ai books are good.
My sister got one from the libary and i had i bit of a read (forgot the name because it was in Japanese- the title, not the words ?????? Does that make sense?) And don't worry Docs-kun, you'll find the book Sayonara Tomoyo-san xx -------------------- |

You should be able to get the torrents at animesuki Docs-san. I've also seen the series called Kasimasi without the h's in it, so try looking for that too. If all else fails I can upload some of the episodes for you to download directly.

I have watched Kashimashi now... ANd it was so COOL!!!!! I went to Accrington and rented it (I would have lented it to Yumi-chan but i only had it for 2 days  sorry)I got really in to it Its probably the best shojo-ai anime i've watch(not the best manga but best Shojo-ai )Sayonara Tomoyo-san xx -------------------- |

Erm, this is a new series that just started running in Japan in January, so I'm not sure how you were able to rent it Tomoyo-san? O.o;;
