Tactics, <3 Kantarou Options

A manga (japanese comic) by Sakura Kinoshita and Kazuko Higashiyama. It's the story about Kantarou, a boy who has the 6th sense to see demons and have them as friends instead. A demon told Kantarou a story about the ogre-eating tengu and he tried to find it. Years passed and Kantarou works as a gosh buster and as a writer (Both are hobbies!!) He has a work and Kantarou found a rock that sealed the tengu and he gave him the name of Haruka. Here the adventure begins... - Fair Tactician

If you know Matantei Loki RAGNAROK then this series would probably be familiar. If not...^^; Anyway, I've only managed to see the anime (25 episodes in all) - even so I missed out some episode when I was away. (at the moment there's episode 24 and 25 left). So I don't know whether the two are different or not. But I'll try to explain the story a little clearer. ^^;

Kantarou was often bullied when he was young (because he saw and befriended demons). So when a demon told him about the strongest ogre-eating tengu, Kantarou was determined to find it and decided to name him 'Haruka'. (If you name a demon, then the demon is bonded to you) When Kantarou is older, he writes articles about tales (of demons and such) he usually encounters when he goes to help people remove demons and such. On one such trip, he found the ogre-eating tengu and named him 'Haruka'.

The story progresses with Kantarou, Haruka, Youko (a fox demon bonded to Kantarou) and Suzu (this girl who they met when helping her sister with demons etc. Oh, and she likes Haruka XD). Other characters seen often are Sugino (a mountain god) and Muu (A demon, Sugino's wife - but likes Kantarou which irks Sugino XD). At first the group go around helping people exorcise and so on. But later on the plot thickens as people seem to be targetting Haruka... This is a real spoiler so I don't want to go on. X3

So far I've really enjoyed the anime. The opening and ending songs are lovely too. ^^ The relationship between Kantarou and Haruka is one of the factors too.

So far I haven't seen any shrines or fansites for this series. O_o; Well, but here are a few pictures. <3

It's pretty easy to guess who is who. XD But yeah, they look younger in the manga.

The manga artwork is very pretty Yume-chan! This is one that I really don't know anything about, but from the description I'm guessing that it's something like Inuyasha, or maybe Yu Yu Hakusho, although there aren't many similarities.

Yes, I know, the artwork is pretty! <3 It's one of the things that attracted me. Hm...I wouldn't really put it alongside Inuyasha or Yu Yu Hakusho...^^;; Well, but it is shoujo. ^^; I'm planning on getting the manga. ^^ The only difference I know so far is that Suzu doesn't seem to appear in the manga.
