I'm thinking of what the odds of having two three day weekends in one school week are. We don't have to make today up either because only a few schools lost water, so this rocks (especially since my actual weekend will be so busy). This is AWESOME. I'm going to... go do psychology work because I'm bored and no one is online / my school friends are sleeping their day off away. XD;

Why, yes, I am - because American Idol is an evil, evil show and people lose brains cells from watching it. The fanbase is full of screaming teenagers that can barely string together a coherent sentence and that base their favoritism on looks instead of talent. The host isn't all great either; he shoots down the dreams of so many people on that thing in front of millions of people. I imagine most of those contestants only enter because they get encouraging words from friends/parents (because why ELSE would some of them enter...) and learning they're terrible on TV is a wonderful way to go. I wish their rating would snap dead and the damn thing would be canceled...

I'm terrified of trying out my straightener because I'm worried I'll burn my hair, even with it on low-heat. My dad's constant remarks about how it'll ruin my hair (even though it's not like I plan to straighten it every day and will always use low heat) and how I'll just burn it to pieces didn't help. Ever since my starting to get rid of things I don't really need anymore he's been this way... I think he knows I'm leaving. Meh.
