...well, the "evil teacher dude" in the book is named "Kinpatsu Sakamochi", while in the movie he's called "Takeshi Kitano"...and in the manga (in case you're interested, but it's not as good as either the movie or book, so you might want to stay away from this one), he's called "Kaneda Yonemi"...



...and they sort of differ a bunch, but I had to make a bunch of phonecalls while I was watching, so I missed a bunch...and I don't have the video, so...yeah....

No, I'll take as many questions as you might like to ask, and I'll answer as many as I can...



...hm...I think I like the book better...simply because there seemed to be more story and more history to certain characters than there was in the movie.



For example, male student number...6 I think, Kazuo Kiriyama, had no history in the movie and actually joined the Program for fun, but in the book, he was part of the class that got selected, and has no emotional responses. ...he's a messed up kid that would flip a coin to decide whether or not he'd kill everyone in the "Game".

Mhmm.. if I can find it I will surely rent it. It's hard to come across foreign movies though *flop* I went to our Library and they had a few of them though. That's where I got Dark Water and this other one called Bayside Shakedown xD;; When I return these movies I'll look for Battle Royale. I'm also looking for another one called Suicide Circle/Suicide Club.

Hmm, yeah... I was reading about it along with Battle Royale. Japanese movies seem very interesting ^.^ There is one other I would love to see called Blue Spring... but I don't have any clue on where I could get it ^^;
