Yeah, I guess, since visual novels are really just games without much more to do than choosing what you want to do, listening to music, having sometimes-beautiful CGs, and...yes. In other words, a computerized choose-your-own-adventure story.

The only exception to this that I really know about is Utawarerumono, a visual novel/battle simulation type game...

I need to draw stuff on my lab report, so I'll be back in like a little less than an hour if you're still here. If not, good night to you and I'll talk to you soon.

XD It's really just semi-neat drawings of mini-cart thingies on a track. And weights on top of the cart, etc. etc. I had to draw about 24 things...(that's 12 cases with two drawings).

Ah, I see. I'm just going through an English translation of the visual novel Shingetsutan Tsukihime...recommendation from friends about two months ago. Never got to getting the English patch and installing it until just today.

Well, mirrormoon made it conveniently easy...of course, it's my first experience with any such thing, but the incredible ease with which it can be done is very nice.

...the incredibly small size of the program is nice too. No more than 500 MB.

...I installed the standard version, though a non-ero version was available. Whether or not I installed the standard version however, it's some pretty heavy material - even if there wasn't any "naughtiness" I'd still rate it an R by American standards. And I'm only on the second day of my first playthrough.
