It's waay overrated, that's for sure. Even if it has to be Shakespeare, Henry V and MacBeth were better I thought.

Mhmm x.X I'm seeing now how much more I enjoyed Macbeth than this one x.x;; I never had a chance to read Henry V. Grade 9 was Romeo and Juliet, Grade 10 was Julius Caesar (<-- stay away from that one x.X;; ) Grade 11 was Macbeth and Grade 12 is Hamlet. I was going to take a writers craft course, and if I had, I would be reading Othello too.

I took writing class for 11 and 12th grade and did excellent with it. Even with a difficult teacher I got an A in writing both years. The funny thing is that up until then I had always done poorly in English studies.

Thankies Yuzuki-chan! *Huggles* ^_^ Writing is something that I really like to do, whereas picking apart nouns and verbs and prepositions I found to be tedious and boring.

Thanks Hikaru-chan. Nyaa.. tell that to my English teacher ne! XD ( yay for 65% on grammar test @@; ) I think I am good at writing essays though... and my grammar in them is usually decent. Hai hai.. but on tests you really have to pick sentences apart to find mistakes.. I'm just not good at it ^^;

It's true that the sort of stuff that we post here in the forum wouldn't go over very well on a grammer test. Those kinds of skills for picking apart sentences for errors would be more suitable for an editor rather than an author I think.
