Sort of, not really. I'm enjoying the last bits of relaxation time before I hit the books. I already had two of my three finals yesterday and my last one's on Thursday. For which I haven't studied.

How bout you?

Indeed this is so. ...since I only have that last final to worry about, I'll be using today and tomorrow to pretty much ingrain it into my mind. I need to do well.

Psychology. A subject for which I only have to read the two assigned chapters and go over notes again. The tests are, essentially, tests of how well you memorized the material, and in very few cases, how well you can apply it real life cases or whether you know how to calculate a mean or standard deviant or what have you.

It is a rather interesting course though and he does his best to make it interesting, and I have no qualms about having taken it. We're required to memorize a bit of stuff, since the professor doesn't cover the textbook in his lectures, but that's the only real difficulty...

...oh, there is a large problem though. The course is not cumulative, and as the professor himself said, after each test you can pretty much forget everything you learned and start learning the rest, then take that test, forget it all, and learn the rest for the final. Of course, you don't have to forget everything, as is my case as a Psych major, but yeah...

I must have just missed you, Batou. I've been buried in my part-time job (video recording local government meetings for public access TV), since they're all trying to get stuff ready before the deadline for Town Meeting Day (sometime at the end of January, TMD is March 4). Job search is slow. Have applications out, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I'm headed to bed soon, since I'm sore as heck after playing Men's League soccer earlier this evening.

Finals and all. Oh, and stressing about the freakin' drunks, geez, I hate them.

Accepting them is out of the question. I will, however, passively hate them until they do something directly to me. The RA and security people - the greatest weapons against underage drinking in dormitories...

Being caught drunk results in bad stuff...a hearing of sorts is in order, I believe, and possibly some other things, but I really don't know the consequences in full.

When they're not drunk, they're as self conscious as ever, so such threats should have adequate weight.
