Mine's because my head's in some language all the time, PBM. If I get bored in class, I'll scribble in some other language for a while - this last year, though, it's been considerably less.

Rice is a staple food, PBM...at least for most Asians, in the southeast, "Far East" Asian sense of the word.

PBM would rather revive an old thread than start a new one with the same topic?

It depends on the board and community.

The reviver of a dead thread would receive criticism because the thread was dead;
on the other hand, someone who restarts an already existing thread would be told that such a thread already existed and that it died long ago. (Although it would probably just continue anyway in the new thread). So, here, I might, but not on other boards.
