Halloween Options

Hi, everybody! It's Emiko-chan! Of course, you probably already knew that. xD So, it's 11 days away from October 31st. Who's ready for Halloween? ^-^ I didn't do anything last year, but I'm feeling much more inspired this year, so I'm definitely gonna dress up. Who, you ask? The Phantom Of The Opera! XD Yes, I will be dressing up as Erik. It's gonna be awesome. I'll be ordering his wig, hat, and gloves soon. I'm hoping I'll find a good suit somewhere...

I'm not sure if I'll be going to an event or just stay home and hand out candy to kids. Either way, I'm gonna dress up. ^^

What about you guys? What are YOUR plans for Halloween? By the way, Hikaru-chan, how are your kids doing? ^-^

It sounds like you're going to have a really cool costume this year Emiko-chan! Are you just going out for trick or treat or do you have some party plans as well?

Every year I'm the one that stays home and gives out the goodies so I usually don't dress up. I really should though ... then give out some tricks too! XD My kids are complete opposites when it comes to Halloween. My son just wants to stay home with me and he doesn't even like candy anyways. When he used to go out for trick or treat he would bring home a pile of candy and never eat any of it. ;; My daughter on the other hand is a Halloween fanatic. She loves to go out for trick or treat and get candy ... she lovess chocolate ... like someone else around here ... eh-heh ... ;; This year she got a blonde wig and a goth/loli costume and is going to be a vampire girl. It's actually a really pretty costume.

I actually haven't done anything for Halloween for close to a decade now. 1999 was the last year I went trick-or-treating. I went to my best friend's Halloween party in 2000 (Which was one of the best nights I've ever had, God that night was great), but since then Halloween's been just another day. Maybe one of these years...

How old are your kids, Hikaru? I think I'm somewhere in between the son and daughter. I enjoyed trick-or-treating and the holiday as a whole, but I don't really like candy that much.

And yeah, you should post pics of the Erik costume. I've never read/watched Phantom of the Opera, though I've always had a bit of an interest thanks to the Goosebumps book of the same name.
