Heh...sou desu. Anyway...it seems I'm the only one that hasn't put one up yet...and it's more likely that I might never will either. Datte...I heard on the news that...this whole "blogging"...thing...as well as posting pictures of yourself on the net...can make you an easy target for online predators/stalkers that try to target kids. (I just heard about this around like an hour ago).

Wow, both of you guys are really good looking! *Huggles Shiro-san and Batou-san!* ^__^ Somehow I imagined you to be thinner than you look in the picture Shiro-san, but no matter, you still look great, and the messy hair is cute. ^_^ Batou-san, you look pretty close to how I imagined you would but I thought that your hair might have been longer. ^_^;;



I'm sure that everyone knows that I'm much older than everyone else here, and the internet is much different from the world that I grew up in. When I was little, the only places that kept records of people's personal information were large institutions like school, banks, hospitals, and the government. The data was kept in either hardcopy files or on mainframe computers that were obviously not internet accessable. Pictures were stored only as hardcopies. So if someone wanted to obtain a photo of me, even legally, it was very difficult to do so because of the limitations of technology. The same goes for the other information (name, date of birth, place of residence etc.) This was something that I've always been used to, but with the advent of the information age, that has all changed. The ease of which anyone can obtain information about me is rather frightening to be honest. There are sites all over the place that offer to run background checks on anyone for a small fee. If I know only your phone number, I can find out your name and where you live. It's also incredibly easy to lose control of your information too. Just now, I looked at your pictures posted here and my comp saved copies of those images on its hard drive. If I were an unscrupulous person, I could distribute those copies everywhere in a matter of minutes, whereas twenty-five years ago, just obtaining the image to begin with would be very difficult. Most of you probably think that I'm paranoid, but it's just that the net is very different for me, and there are others that I also have to look out for. Although I think that I can trust you guys here, the forum is still a public place and there are many other eyes besides ours that read these pages. Maybe in a more private setting, I'd be willing to give out a picture of myself ... if I have one that's not really iccky. >_< The net is dangerous like a couple of you said already, please be careful out there everyone.

Heh...sou ne. Anyway...I know you guys have already seen Shiro-kun...(and...if you guys remember correctly about me having to not post up one)...I've decided...well...just one post will probably do it. So...like I said...just a one-shot only.

This picture...by the way...is actually me & Shiro-kun at our graduation party back in elementary school. (The one wearing a blue suit...that's me...the one in black is Shiro-kun).



And uh...sorry if it's a bit messed up. (It's been on the shelf in my room for quite a while lately...and has collected a lot of dust).



Oh...and by the way...(besides me having to use Japanese nicknames)...Aotatsu would be referring to me...by the way...datte...1.) Ao (which is blue) & 2.) tatsu (is referring to dragon)...3.) I was born on the year of the dragon (hence...1988, which would be the year of the dragon, according to the Chinese zodiac)...& 4.) Blue happens to be my favorite color.
