Bakuretsucon Options

[Shiidou Hikaru]

Bakuretsucon is a small anime con that they hold near where I live. It's not a spectacular thing like Otakon, but it's close enough that I can drive to it and back home again without having to stay overnight. So that's where I was last night in case anyone missed me - gomenasai.



Right off, I got to meet Mark Matnoy a.k.a. Ken Nakajima in the lobby just as he was leaving. His panel was earlier in the afternoon, but I had to work yesterday so I couldn't attend that. -_- It was late when I showed up, and the dealer's room was already closed, but I'll go back there today. I did get to see the first AMV screening, and some of them were quite good. I was a little surprised to see that at a small con like this. After that I went to another video room to see a couple of anime series - Angelic Layer and Onegai Teacher. (I'll make separate topics for those). Wandering around in the hallways I did run into a few familiar faces - Chii, Anthy Himemia, Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo), Alan Shazar, Nabashin, some from Evangelion, and some others. I would've liked to go as Hikaru, but unfortunately not this time I'm afraid.



Today I'll be going back for more, mostly to visit the dealer's room and see Tiffany Grant's panel. So I'll be a little scarce again today. Hopefully everyone will be okay without me today, and I do feel bad about not being here. Tonight or tomorrow I'll post more about the con.
