Fate's the only avatar I've used, so I don't have much of a history to share. XD Think it might be about time for a change, actually.

Hehe, what's the story behind this one? I wonder what Hikaru's examining... somehow, even with glasses she doesn't look quite as intelligent or mature as Fuu. ^^;

At some time or another I've used all of those avatars, but not always here at this forum. Some were used at other boards and some have odd size restrictions so I have to modify them, so that's how the variations came to be.

The Hikaru with glasses came from a group shot in one of the CLAMP art books. I'll see if I can find the whole thing so that you can see what they are all examining. Hikaru looks really funny in the glasses and lab coat so that's why I made that one. It is rather uncharacteristic for her. ;;

Oh yeah, I'd definitely like to see the full picture. I really like CLAMP artwork, moreso when it's related to Magic Knight Rayearth.

Ah, and I'm not sure whether you'd be interested or not, but have you ever heard of a rotating avatar? A rotating avatar is where you upload multiple images to a single file, and if you use that single file as your avatar, then you can have those multiple images selected at random as your avatar whenever you load a page. ... yeah, I have no idea how to explain it. >_> Basically, if you enter a thread your avatar might start off being , but then you restore the page and it's ... then you enter another thread and your avatar starts off as , then you refresh and it changes to . It's just something that lets you create a huge repository of randomly selected avatars, basically - I've seen someone at another forum that has close to 200 avatars using this feature.

You can click here if you're interested, it's really simple to use. Not exactly a pivotal feature, but this crossed my mind since I just noticed you've changed your avatar. With a bunch of icons you'd probably be more Hikaru-y than ever.

Hmm, I've never seen the Sign Avatar site before but it is an interesting idea. At one time I remember someone telling me that rotating images could be done using javascript, but I never tried to figure that out myself. Sometimes I wish that I was better at programming. v_v I finally made a scan of the original image of Hikaru with the glasses and lab coat - http://www.henheart.com/rayearth/images/lab_group1.jpg - they are all studying some interesting flowers teeheehee! Recently I did change my avatar and It has been a really long time since I've done that, but I might make another one based on something that I haven't used in the past.
