Oh! I've read through Naruto bk. 12 (or was it 13...?). Sasuke's the best. Then Their teacher dude (the guy who's mouth is always covered by that cloth and is always reading naughty books. lol!), then Sakura, and... Naruto himself is pretty much last. lol!

A nice sentiment but I have my doubts that it will ever be realized. The American entertainment industry would need to get their collective head out of the sand and discard the age old paradigm that "cartoons are only for kids". Only when they (and their commercial sponsors of course) are willing to take animation seriously as an "all walks of life" entertainment media will they ever succeed at outdoing the Japanese at their own game.

Naruto, huh? I was a huge Narutard till recently; it's gotten really boring now. I'm still rooting for pairings though. NARUSAKU FTW!!

Personally, I doubt America could beat Japan at the anime industry. I have the same opinion as Hikaru-san, and the fact that I love Japan doesn't help. Personally, I can't even believe that anime is selling better in the U.S. than in Japan (or more like I don't want to believe D: *shot*) If I moved to Japan, I wouldn't be considered as much of a geekfreak as I am now. (I would still be considered an otaku though ;P )

People I talk to are like, "Oh what's that, Naruto??"

"...It's not Naruto, it's Gurren Lagann..."

"...What the heck is that?"
