Yeah. Only one volumes out so far. =) I saw it at the bookstore! ^^ Oh! Oh! And I got to read volume 5 of Ultra Cute!!! ^^/ And 4 of Dazzle and 2 of L'corde De Oro (or whatever it's called XD) Oh and there's this new series comming out called Pixie Pop!! It's by the same author who did Girl Got Game. It looks pretty cool! ^^ Here's the summery.

Mayu, the daughter of a cafe owner, is unlucky in love until she meets “Puchou,” the magical fairy of beverages. Now, whenever Mayu drinks something, she transforms accordingly! Milk makes her grow large, water makes her invisible, pork soup turns her into a cute little piglet. But what will help her win the man of her dreams?

happy.gif;;

Stolichnaya = vodka

Erm, alcohol has always been a good thing to use to soften people up and make them less resistant, that's why salesmen were so fond of the "three martini lunch" for so many years. But in the context of Mayu, it was meant to be humorous. Maybe vodka would make Mayu extremely gorgeous and sexy ... or maybe turn her into a potato ...

I'm not sure what Batou-san meant with the split pea soup, that one escaped me too Kisa-chan. happy.gif;;

I've been reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and it's better than the anime. Way better

I hate how slow some books get published...I remember I read volume 18 of Rebirth sometime before the end of summer. Volume 19 only came out this month! It's been so long that I can't remember who the first girl we meet in volume 1 is - was it Remi or Millenear (or however you spell her name)? Volume 17 of Chronicles of the Cursed Sword only came out last month too. Both are from Tokyopop.

Whereas the first volume of Hayate the Combat Butler probably came out on December 31st at the latest, since that's when I read it, and the second volume is already in stores...published by Viz Media...

I suppose manhwa (Korean manga like Rebirth and Chronicles of the Cursed Sword) are on lower priority than manga (like Hayate the Combat Butler). Meh.

For the most part, I tend to dislike the artwork of the Korean stuff, so I'll avoid it as much as possible. The same kind of thing I've noticed happening between different manga series too though, where some series are released at a quicker rate than others. It's probably based on sales numbers I would guess.

Yeah, shortly after posting I looked up where Rebirth stands in its original Korean publication...it seems that as of 12/30/06, there are 21 volumes. Chronicles is at its 29th volume in Korean, with 17 volumes released in America.

I'm like that too, but to me there just seems to be something about these two (and Angel Diary...and a few more) that's more attractive than quite a bit of the Korean stuff I see out there.

Korean stuff? Well only one that I have read is Ragnar?k an I really really liket it. Hopefully I still can find more of those.

I also have looked up more CLAMP series and so far I have red the first three volumes of RG Veda. I donwloaded it, since I thought I couldn't buy it any where. But I later found out that one finnish netstore is actually selling RG Veda and the price is that bad. But I still can't afford it since my living expences eats all of my incomes and my mom has to help me out a bit. But I really hope that I get a job for the summer, so mayby then...

I've seen the Tokyo Babylon OVA's and have to read the mangas also... I need check if there's a possibility to buy it.

Now RG Veda is a different story, I absolutely love the artwork that CLAMP did for RG Veda! happy.gif It's very clean, sleek, and detailed, but must have been rather time consuming to produce. All of their older material was made in a similar style (Including MKR) but they lost a lot of that special style around the time Cardcaptor Sakura was made, which is a little sad ... v_v

I've also starting found on older CLAMP's series. Well I haven seen the Aime versions, but I bet the mangas are at least as good.

I came across a new one the other day named 'Free Collar Kingdom' about a catboy getting involved with a gang of other cat-people. Anyone else see this?
