In the TV series, it wasn't always clear which side Ferio was on, but later it was quite apparent that he was one of the good guys. The OAV's were a little different, Ferio was a real good as a bad boy I thought. Fuu-chan would probably kick me for saying that though ... owch!

I missed this one yesterday .. sorry Yuzuki-chan.
They let Ferio be a lot stronger and assertive in the OAV's which is a nice enhancement to his character (they modified Eagle Vision in a similar way). Instead of getting all wishy-washy over Fuu, he winds up fighting against her with his own mashin instead. The OAV's were cool I thought because of the way the took the same characters and put different spins on them, changed the setting, and the story.
