character forums suggesion Options

It seems to take a really long time to scroll down this forum. Have you ever concitered making the different character forums sub forums of one "Character Disscusstion Forum" .

*shrugs* sorry it's just a suggestion.

This forum was originally located on Ezboard which doesn't have subforum/child forum functionality. When it was converted over to IPB last fall I just kept the forum arrangement the same. The least important areas were always kept the farthest down. The whole character forums section should be collapsable if it seems too long to reach the stuff at the bottom. There is a small minus sign symbol to the far left of each catagory section header that will collapse the section so that only the header is visible.

the whole character forums bit was the first thing I noticed when I arrived here. You can do with this comment what you like, but you could always make one simple "characters" forum, and threads can be made for them as they are, and an be stickied if need be. To me it just seemed silly to have so many seemingly emptyish, forums. But that is just a simple thought from new memeber.

They've always been pretty lightly traveled since the very beginning and a lot of the few topics that were in them were deleted in the dreaded Ezpocalypse of 2005. It certainly wouldn't be hard to condense all of the topics into a single forum section or like Nekoshoujo-san suggested make them all child forum sections of a general "Characters" forum section. It's something that I'll think about because they seem to be kind of lonely down there.
