I'm guessing not many know of this series...(well, part of the cast is featured in my avvie and siggy =P) But well, just thought I'd introduce it a little - because it really is a nice series. ^^ At the moment there are 8 volumes, and it's still ongoing. There's an anime too which I haven't seen, but from what I've heard it's not as nice as the manga.

A cute story about a girl who follows one of her friends to a special school for "Alice's" -- children who have magical powers. The purpose for the school is ostensibly the protection of these children from those who would use or hurt them, but, as the heroine finds out, things are not all that they seem.

Mm...yup, it's cute. XD The plot is interesting too. As mentioned above, it's set in a school, which is run in a totally different manner. The students are not only graded differently based on their ability, punished differently, and even treated differently in a sense (like their meals and their rooms!). The teachers also have their own powers, by the way. ^^ And they are not allowed to step outside of the school once they come in, unless they are given permission (in some cases as a reward). But despite this fact, the heroine (Sakura Mikan) thinks in a positive manner and makes her days at school enjoyable and working hard at the same time gain recognition.

I'm afraid if I continue I'll give away spoilers (because there are REALLY funny/interesting moments) that not only give depth to the plot but characters too.

[Shiidou Hikaru]

Hmm, I've never watched or read this one although I think that I've seen the manga in the bookstore before. It looks very cute, but seems to have a dark side about it, especially the school that they have to go to. In a way it makes me think of Harry Potter and friends at Hogwarts, but That's probably stretching it a lot. This could be interesting, but I'll have to look into it a little more. I went to that fansite, but there didn't seem to be a lot of info there. Is their banner image supposed to be Natsume? It's kind of confusing ... @_@

Mm...there does seem to be a darker side to the series, but I haven't reached that part yet, I suppose. ^^; Yup, the banner features Natsume. ^^

That fansite mainly features the anime, I think - which I haven't seen so I don't know much. I don't think the anime is as nice as the manga though, as I mentioned before.

Which part is confusing? ^^;;
