The forums are alive? Options

Sometime last month, the forums started showing an 'Account Suspended' message. I've been refreshing the page every day, only to be greeted by that same message. I thought they might be down for good, but then I decided to try using the forum URL to visit (rather than the 'suspended page' URL that I was redirected to several weeks ago), and they're back! That was scary. ;_; What happened?

Erm, I'm not really sure. I don't come here all that often myself so I can't remember seeing anything like that. Your account wasn't suspended so it might have been too many login attempts or maybe just a bug. The whole site did go down for few days some time last fall, but that should have given you a 404 error. In any case, it's good that you have it working again.

It wasn't my message board account that was supposedly suspended, it meant 'account' in the sense that the website itself (and the admin account that owned it) was suspended. Might be worth looking into.

A new Magic Knight Rayearth anime was announced. Maybe this would be a good time to reopen registrations? Assuming that wasn't done already.

Hihi, I went and took a look at the 30th Anniversary remake site, but there is not much to see right now. It is pretty exciting to see that this is in the works. Recently, I've seen a couple of other classic series that have gotten remade. The Fruits Basket remake was great and more true to the original story I thought. Netflix is also running a remake of Ranma 1/2 which looks great technically, but only has about three episodes out at this point, so hard to say how well it is going to turn out overall. Modern special effects could make MKR really amazing to watch, so I am very much looking forward to it. BTW, great to see you again Casey-sensei!
