Itena Literature, I just felt like writing something, I'm not sure whether it'll Options

Her footsteps were heard as slight taps onto the pavement. They were slow, methodical steps; you heard a rhythmic beat from the taps... They never speeded up, nor did they relent. Just the same tapping, a monotonous melody. They were beats to the silent music; the white noise of the city. They were unnoticeable, yet they were indeed a part of the artificial orchestra. Tap, tap, tap.

Were they to continue tapping forever more? Surely the girl would stop at some point. But then, the tapping would return once her feet started to move again. And then there were the sound of other people's footsteps; would that count as those taps?

This is what you get when there's a bored girl on the computer at 11:00 in the night; I should be getting to bed, but I just wanted to write something, even if that something is incredibly short and random. Who knows, maybe I'll continue with this tomorrow...

It reminds me of that old TV show that started out with a phrase of a "million stories in the city and tonight we see" or something like that and it would start into the plot. The "white noise" is just all of those taps, all of those stories, all of those lives being lived at the same time.

Hmm, that kind of thing always gets you thinking doesn't it? Perhaps I'll continue this after I am done all my homework and studies...

Really? I wasn't necessarily trying to do poetry, I just sort of...winged it. It was late, but I was feeling creative, so I merely let my fingers move.

okay, here's a small story I made for English...

Last Sanctuary



Ever-beautiful flowers lined up in rows up rows; the wind blowing a gentle breeze that hardly sirred a blade of grass. The ever stationary trees created such merciful shading from the bright sunshine that day. The leaves seemed to dance and sing as the wind rushed through the tree's branches. The great garden carried a non-offensive scent that was carried through the air; a scent of roses.

An elderly man was walking ever so slowly through this garden; a very calm and peaceful visage on his weather face. His clothing included a thin, beige and fleecy weather with some comfortable navy sweatpants; hes feet were adorned with some brown slip-ons.

Sitting down slowly on a nearby bench of simple design and white wood, the elderly gentleman took a look around him. He watched lovingly at how the birds sang, how the plants danced in waves, how the trees stood as guardians of the sanctuary.

'This,' he thought as he was closing his eyes,' is Heaven on Earth.'

And with that last though in his mind, the senior passed on towards the heavenly kingdom, the one which did not reside on Earth.

Spirit and Garden

Suddenly, it was as if she had lived for a thousand years. Her body felt heavy and unnatural and the woman wanted badly to escape from that cage and break free.

Then, a vision occurred. In that vision, she stripped away from her skin, her body. She was immediately in euphoria from all the weight having disappeared. She suddenly was more aware of herself than ever before; she was now only herself, after all.

Thus, before her, all secrets and all knowledge and all wisdom, all of existence was in front of her. And because she did not have the limitations of the brain, she automatically learned it all.

Opening her eyes, the vision completed, her lips quietly and quiveringly spoke a simple word, "Light."
