OK everyone, this is the thread for the RPG we had going before the move. Here's copies of character profiles, and current discussion:

The note from the beginning: (Goes for all RPG's) If your character's name is in a foreign language, please tell me what language it is and what it means. If you do not, I will look it up. I don't want to have to tell someone they can't use a character because I found out the name meant "F*** you" or something of the sort. But I don't want something like this, either: Name: Kuso Meaning: Damn it!

Name: Kishou-Otome Suiiki
Language: (Forgot to this in before, sowwies!) Japanese
Meaning: Rising Maiden Waters
Age: Teenager (Or so it seems)
Birthdate: December 31
Astrological sign: Capricorn
Hair:short and dusty greenish
Eyes: Grey
Height:Tall, but exact height unknown for the moment.
Weight: More than she looks(by a little bit. not much.)
Element: Water/Soul/Magic
powers: Maiden Waters-A magical, water-based attack that she can use anytime. It can be molded into almost anything, includiing a barrrier against dead things.
Maiden Water Soul: A water-like magic attack that uses Suiiki's actual soul.
Rising Soul- This allows her to temporarily raise and bind to her will a powerful, yet benevolent, dead soul to protect her and anyone else she tells it to.
Dark Magic-Hidden powers from her days as a necromancer. She cannot use these conciously, because she refuses to remind herself of them. They bring back memories of terrible things she did as a necromancy under a more powerful mage.
Favourite quote: "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"
Catch phrase: "Things are not always what they seem." (Sometimes adds "I may be one of those things.")
History: She was devoted to necromancy since she was very small. For most of her "career" she was working under a powerful mage who used Suiiki's talent to do terrible things. Suiiki realized when she got older that she was not doing anything good for the world, so officially she has given up the bells, though she still carries them in order to defend herself.
Suiiki never talks about her past, and refuses to tell anyone about her days of necromancy. The real Suiiki isn't evil, even though she thinks she is evil deep inside.
Necromancy is, and alway will be, a part of Suiiki, no mattter how much she wants to hide from it. Had Suiiki known her parents before she became a necromancer, she would have known why she could control this powerful magic when few can.

(Notes: Information on necromancers from the Sabreil Series of books by Garth Nix. Suiiki is based on the unnamed character I took in a dream I had, which I blame on having just finished reading Lirael, the second book in the series.)

History: A random bum on the streets, but somehow got mysterious magical abilities when he was exposed to radiation from a nuclear power plane nearby. He uses them to get food and money. The powers are of a dark element, but with the way he uses them, nobody knows what they are anymore...

Language: Japanese/English
Meaning: Restless Warrior
Age: Unknown
Birthdate: Unknown
Astrological sign: Leo
Hair: Long (waist length) silver
Eyes: Bright green
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: Unknown
Element: Earth/Wind/Mind Speech
powers: Warrior's Barrier - a mixture of Earth and Wind elements, used as a sheild against magic and element attacks.
Soka Na - a Wind attack that uses the air around to attack enemy.
Blades of Life - a sword attack that uses all ki (life energy) to attack the enemy, until the enemy is dead or there is nothing left of him/her.
Yasha Ei - once and a while her demonic side comes into play and takes over the battle. This 'state of mind' comes up only when blood is in the air.
Favourite quote: "Remember the feel of my lips against yours. For it was real."
Catch phrase: "What did you do now?"
History: Sascie is haunted by her demonic side. Her half human half demon body is always at war with itself, and usually the demonic side is winning. The scent of blood kicks her demon side in and it takes over her personality. When young, Sascie's mother was murdered and ever since Sascie has been on a journey to find the killer. Her demon father disappeared sometime during her youth.

Her father was a wolf demon, so while in her demon form, Sascie appears somewhat like a dog. Ears, *sensative nose and ears* and claws.

*Her mother was a high priestess, who had strong magical powers. All her life, Sascie tried to be more like her mother, but in the end she found herself enjoying her abusive father's sword training hours more than the hours of sitting and trying to channel ki (life energy) into physical and mental magic.

*Sascie always carries a sword that her father forged for her. Made out of the strongest metal in the known world, the blade has saved Sascie in battle many a time, even though Sascie looks not a day older than 20 years old.

Current discussion:

Me: OK, I've posted my part of the RP, now it's everyone else's turn. ^^ The characters we have are:

SUiiki: My character, the necromancer
Sacienne: Fushigi's character, the half-demon
Megan: jen's character, the knight, if she decides to join the RP
Randombum: Randombum's character, the bum, the only male character thus far.

The RP is taking place near the medieval period, in an asyet unknown location. I would like to know when we can expect characters to start meeting and traveling together, and any ideas for villains.

(jen announces that she will be using Megan, the female knight)

Emily: Okay! Just to let you all know, I'm in a writing mood and couldn't be bothered to handle Neri-darling... *steals Megan's shield to fend off a now-rabid RP character* so I'll sneak my way in here. *cackles* Finally! A chance to use Nae-chan! *holds up shield again* *is now missing her wallet*

Yeah, that's REALLY mature. *snatches it back off Nae* I need that money to to Christmas shopping, you know! Keep misbehaving like this and I won't Roleplay with you full stop!

me: You know, a roleplay character often resembles the personality of his/her creator. *Ducks an attempt by Emily to throw Nerio's katana at her* Hey its true!

Hehe I'm glad to see you back, Jen...And everyone remember to keep your wallets safe, assuming what just happened with Emily's is anything to go by. I need to do my Christams shopping too! I had half of it done but then there a little things aren't wrapped and chibi sisters decide to play hide and go seek in my closet...*Glares at little sisters* I told you two to stay out of my room! *Chases sisters out of room and locks door*

I'm wondering.. Do we want to throw Randombum out of the mix or have him as a no-playable character until he comes here/if he does?

 Um, I'll get back to you about a profile. ¬¬ The opening post gave a fairly decent description, though, so you should get the general idea if you go and read it. XD.

It'd be great if other members joined the role-play. *grins* The more the merrier... or something like that.

Actually, I've only been checking things as I get reply notifies about them...If anything new has been posted, I wouldn't know...I dearly want to strangle an AP teacher or two, but...I can't access them...stupid net schoool >.< *Strangles a pillow instead*

Hmm. About time I put in one of these profiles. ^^;

Name: Megan of Alberton
Language: English
Age: 20
Birthdate: Unknown
Astrological sign: Unknown
Hair: Blonde, shoulder-length
Eyes: Dark Blue
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 60kg (134 pounds or thereabouts)
History: Megan grew up in a noble family, and had an older brother (Thomas) who she loved to pieces. Thomas went away to the Royal Palace to become a knight when she was five, and was killed in a freak accident three years later. After that, Megan decided she wanted to become a knight, just like Thomas was going to. Her parents thought it was just a whim, and were dead-set against Megan going to the Royal palace to train. They'd already lost one child, and were determined not to lose their only remaining child.

Her parents finally let her go to the Royal Palace to train when she was ten, assuming she'd be back home in a week, and would settle down and become a lady. They were wrong. After 8 years of diffcult and physically-demanding training, Megan earned her shield. She was surprised when her parents didn't turn up for the shield presentation, and sent a servant instead with her shield. Everyone at the presentation was shocked when the shield was unveiled. Instead of having the colours and emblem of Megan's family (a seahorse on a dark blue field), the shield was completely blank.

Megan accepted the blank shield, knowing that her parents had disowned her completely. The next day she left the Palace on a journey, and has been travelling ever since.
